Default wedding dress + pockets =???

what do you think? I have been in LOVE with some of the latest wedding dresses with pockets. I am SUCH a pocket girl, I absolutely love them. I asked the dress designer and she said we could definitely add them to my dress. They would be "hidden" and wouldn't change the line of the skirt at all. Just so you all don't think I am crazy here are some wedding dresses with pockets:

I would have loved pockets in my dress, especially since I wore it for the ceremony and reception. It would have been nice to be able to slip a lipstick or compact in there.

I'd love a poofy dress with pockets! Why didn't they make them sooner?! (Not that I needed a wedding dress or see myself needing one anytime in the near future!)

But I can't imagine any form-fitting dress with one because it'd be bulky... there's a hip, there's a tube of lipstick, there's a leg.... kwim?

If its all full of layers and you can't tell they are there, go for it! You could put some chapstick or something in there.

Considering how long I wore my dress it wouldn't have made sense to have pockets. But if it's what you want, go for it!

Personally, I'm not a fan of it...I carried a cute little purse to put any essentials in.

Manda :P I love you

Yes - it is a full skirt on my dress so that is why it won't make any obvious bulges. I will be in my dress for a large portion of the day. The ceremony will be at 6pm but we are doing photos ahead of time, so we will be dress from like 2ish on till the party ends which could be anytime after 10pm

never thought about pockets in a wedding dress. Seems pointless unless you are gonna wear it for a while. But, what ever make you happy then that is all that matters!

Go for it! Since you're going to be in the dress for such a long time, I think it makes sense. Put it this way, if you get the pockets put in, you have the flexibility to use them or not (if you find a TDF purse later on).

I love the idea of pockets in a wedding dress...actually in most dresses.

I love that first dress.
