Angry CS3 and I are about to have a serious falling out

this is the second day in a row that it has done this very same thing. Try to open up just one item from a file or four, it doesn't matter. The thing just hangs up. On my Mac I get the spinning color wheel of extreme irritation as it sits there and spins and spins and spins and, well, you get the picture. So then I have to force quit the program.
It did this to me I bet a half dozen times yesterday before it finally worked. And now it's doing it again.

My PSP was doing that to me and then some people over at DST gave me some suggestiong to try and it worked great. Sped the program up to normal and I have not had the problem since. I use a pc though so it would probably be totally different on a Mac

Well I tried two methods to get it to work. A restart doesn't work. However, a computer shut down and then opening it back up, for some reason, does. However, it is a huge pain in the patoot.

I'm not sure what is happening...but I would recommend scanning your computer with your virus scanner, getting malwarebytes and running it, and then do a defrag! maybe it will help...plus make sure you have all the patches on the software!
