I did a word document too and printed it (took out the pictures) so I could refer to it - that helps. I can go to the thread to look at examples if needed.

Still great Layouts here's!

Here's mine for #3. Featured : Grace Lee
I feel inspired by this extract of her interview:
"I thought it would be appropriate to start off 2019 with a sweet kit here at SSD! Also, my daughter was a honey bee this past Halloween and I couldn’t resist."

It makes me want to scrap a sweet picture of my kids with a sweet kit of Grace!

For the typography challenge. The font seemed kind of 'teenage boy' to me, so I figured I'd use it for the title on this layout. Those of you who have watched my kids grow up in layouts, can you believe the changes in this kid??

I didn't know there was a national bird day, but I sure love my birds! I never thought I'd like having chickens. Now I find myself collecting them!

#3 Featured
Inspired by Grace's layout of her daughter so scraplifted it.
Used her Thankful 30 Kit.

The quote went wonderfully with my One Little Word for 2019. I was so excited to scrap this layout. Most of it is Melissa Bennett's "I am" kit, but there are a few other SSD pieces thrown in (and the paper doll from a former SSD designer, Krystal Hartley, that I just had to add to this layout - the wings were from a Studio Basics kit (as is the word strips).

OK - so I'm a little (actually, a lot) apprehensive about posting my layouts in here. You people are so talented! I am feeling like I did when I was teaching 9th grade Honors English. Those kids were smarter than me and everyone knew it! But here goes:

#12. Composition :

#15. Color :

#16. Rewind / Flashback :

My newest page, for #3, Featured Designer challenge. I took my inspiration from Grace's interview on the blog. The stunning layout that she shared when they asked her for her most recent layout really inspired me to create this page. I loved the floral design with the really soft colors and soft photos.

And #4 - Inspired by:

#16 -I was not at all satisfied with this layout but the pictures are still pretty to look at lol. I liked the challenge though because it really took me out of the comfort zone.

I love this new idea of the thread of inspirations for the Passport! I've enjoyed scrolling through as I prep to make a new layout.
I agree with the other ladies that the passport book is hard to refer to on it's own to complete the challenges. I too made a text file with notes corresponding to the passport numbers so I didn't have to keep opening the website...I think 100 of the views of the FAQ thread are mine lol!
I really REALLY love this idea of the Passport Book so we're not locked into a particular pattern on a bingo card, but just some constructive critique -maybe the book could be a little less elaborate so the squares could be bigger to see the layouts?
Perhaps the numbers could be in order now, unless there's a behind-the-scenes reason for the mixed up nature (such as spot #10 will always be a font?)
To kick things off I did #10 Typography challenge. That fun font said "NEW YEARS" to me...

#14 Currently - Planning
loooove the colors in Melissa Bennett's "A is for Awesome" kit
and if you ever want a template which will showcase nearly every element in a kit, check this out from Brook Magee. This is Trifecta 18. I was tickled to use the template which gave me the opportunity to use so many elements and papers in the Awesome kit.

journal: tiny resolutions leading to big changes. I used my project life page for this. Also, I tried for a simpler, cleaner look than I normally do. I almost like it. Lol, I just like to add All the Things!

#11 Wild Card
My Facebook Banner. Each month I try to create something fun because at the end of the year I use one of those printing services that pulls all the posts & makes it into a book. I'm nerdy in that I like to have each monthly page showing an appropriate banner once it's printed.

I never know how to post these in the gallery - hybrid? but it's all digital, but it's not a layout...quandary.

Here's my page for #5 - list. Funny story on this one - I made another page which was a list of my favorite things to do, but then realized I didn't read all the instructions and it was supposed to be a to-do list lol! I like both pages anyway though, so hey
