my mom needs prayers

Hey everyone,
I gotta tell you that I'm bawling my eyes out right now. My mom had a heart attack the other day and today she went in for surgery. She was going to have a valve replacement and a double bypass. I got an update earlier today that her heart was better off than they thought and she didn't need the new valve. Which was good news. However, once they were done with the bypass, they tried to take her heart off the bypass pump and it isn't working. Her heart won't work without the pump. She's been in surgery for 12 hours now and they can't make her heart work, however they are still trying. Please pray for my mom and for the doctors' wisdom. My mom's name is Fran.

Thank you everyone, I can't tell you how much this means to me. My mom is out of surgery now. The doctors repaired her heart and she was finally able to get off the bypass pump. They say her heart is looking fine now, which is wonderful news. However... during surgery they found a lot of stuff that is wrong inside her. It's hard to get real answers right now. The doctor's only can say, "She's been very sick for a long time." They are suspecting that her kidneys are shot. My mom is a diabetic, so it was something we all knew could happen at some point. With a heart that isn't working right, it made it much worse. Unfortunately, they are also saying other organs are having problems too. As she gets stronger, they will be able to figure out what is next and if they have to operate again.

Thank you for your prayers. I know that helped my mom pull through her heart surgery. She still has some battles ahead, so any prayers for her and the doctors' wisdom to figure this out are still appreciated. Thank you!
