Default Ok.... FINE!! You Win!!

After months and months of avoiding all things Twilight, I gave in a watched the movie tonight.

For the love of all things holy, I am now totally and utterly hooked. Happy now?!?!

lol I'm of those girls that avoids things if they're *too* trendy... like Crocs, chai tea, and this Twilight nonsense. And I foolishly thought I could watch the movie and keep myself separate from all the hype.

Yeah. Not happening. I'm going tomorrow after work to get the books (all of them) and I swear I'll be done with the first one by sundown Tuesday.

Oh, and can I just say that the movie is probably one of the sexiest movies I've ever seen?! If my husband was home instead of at work tonight, he'd be in a world of trouble.

Seriously, though. I blame all of you. Mandy, Traci, all of you.... ((shaking fists at sky)) DAMN... YOU.... TWILIGHT.... FREAKS!!

Twilight Freak... checking in :P :P

I was waiting for Dh to get home yesterday so I can take a trip to Target and get the movie... and he wasn't getting home until WAY late... so when he called and I mentioned the movie - he was so nice to stop on his way home and get it for me. We watched it together last night and I'm soooo ready for the next one!

I'm reading book #4 right now

My neighbor did the same thing! She went to see the movie with me, then HAD to borrow the books. You're going to want to watch the movie again after you read the books. lol

Welcome to the wonderful world of vampires & warewolves.

I also try to avoid the trendy stuff, but DH and I both love vampires and werewolves so it was a must see for that reason alone...once i saw the movie the books were here in the next day and the audio books shortly thereafter.

You know I got the first 2 books back in Mid January and I read them both in like 12 hours...I COULD NOT put them down!! I ran right out and bought the third and I haven't made it past the first chapter I don't know I just "lost intrest".

DH even got me the movie and I haven't watched it yet.....I think my hormones are messing with me!!!

I'm working from home tomorrow, and I totally plan on going at some point during the day and buying the movie. I know I won't like it as much as the books, but I GOTTA watch it! I never got to see it in theaters, lol.

Teehee.
Still...the movie Edward is lame compared to the book Edward, so you have a lot to discover about our favorite vampire hottie. And trust me, you will fall head over heels...
On a side note, my DH ASKED me to watch Twilight with him last night. Whoa! Seriously, this dude isn't into this type of movie at all! He was a little restless in the middle, around "mushroom ravioli", and I thought he'd hate it when we turned it off. Surprisingly, he said it wasn't bad. LOL!!!! I'm tellin ya, I expect to hear the pigs flying over the house at ANY MOMENT!

See, this is what worries me cuz I'm totally gone over the movie Edward. How will I behave when I read about the "better" Edward in the book!?

I was going to go see it with Jordan's mom and sister (who both read them after I did and loved them) but by the time we all got together it was out of the theaters

Jenny, it doesn't MATTER how you'll behave with the book version of Edward, IT'S WORTH IT! LOL!

Amy, why put off something that could bring you so much pleasure? It's just silly!

can you believe I've YET to reread them? I have all 4 in hardback above my desk in a hallowed spot of honor and I've yet to pick them up again. I guess I'm just not a rereader

Traci, I'm totally NOT a rereader. I need a WHILE before I can reread a book. I've tried in the past and I always end up reading a chapter or so, and then the whole book comes flooding back into my memory and ruins it.

But, I will own the complete hardcover series eventually (I borrowed them to read them the first time).

What's great is that now when I read parts of the books again, I now picture Edward as RP!!! I still don't do that with Bella though.....don't know why...I'm not a rereader much either, but I keep reading bits and pieces of the all the books, like the last part of New Moon!

Oh great, I'm dreading watching it because I don't want to actually like it! Lol! I am really sick of seeing layouts & kits that are Twilight themed!

Yay Jenny, I think you'll love the books even more than the movie! When I read them last July I'd already seen the very first movie trailer so I already had movie Edward & Bella pictured in my head as I was reading. So for me they've always been one and the same! And I agree with La, you just can't say no to Rob Pattinson

My Twilight Special Edition Borders Exclusive 2 Disc set was delivered today so I'm all excited to sit down and watch it tonight

LOL! I haven't read past the 1st post so I don't read any spoilers, but after avoiding all things Twilight I'm about to cave, too. I plan to get the first book later this week.
