Default QOTD: 10/28 Recipes

Today I want to look thru a few keto low carb cookbooks I bought on the wkend. I need some new ideas for snacks and meals. I almost never buy books anymore at a brick and mortar store but I like to see a cookbook in person, flip thru it to see if there are recipes I would make (I am a casual, simple cook so don't like a lot of ingredients or ingred I don't normally stock in my pantry and want to make it fairly quickly).

So, today's question is....

Recipes....do you buy books or magazines, search online, follow any food bloggers or forums? How do you access your recipes? Do you write them down, do you store them in pinterest?

Tell me all about your system for recipes.

I buy Paleo food magazine and belong to the Apple online magazine subscription. I have a few shelves of cookbooks that I've collected over the years but don't look thru them often so am trying to pick one out every week or two and look thru it. I've started taking photos of a page/recipe I want to make and then can pull it up on my phone when I want to make it.

I search Pinterest all the time for recipes.

I'm such a food geek....I love to spend a few hours in Chapters or other large bookstores, browsing thru the cookbooks. I will get a pile and sit on the floor with them, happily looking thru the pages. I spent almost 2 hrs at Chapters recently and came out of there with 2 keto cookbooks that have a lot of recipes I know I'm going to make.

I read low carb bloggers sometimes but don't follow any regularly but I do follow a lot of low carb IGers. I like having two IG accts, one for scrappy stuff and one for food/photography stuff.

I usually scour Pinterest for just what I'm looking for. Sometimes I've found great recipes and other times they bombed. I'm usually looking for easy recipes with not too many ingredients. If I see too many ingredients I get overwhelmed and move on. lol

I've been back to WW since May and I like to browse their recipes, too, so that I know I'm staying on track.
