As everyone wno is friends with me on FB knows, I'm currently watching binge watching 'Grey's Anatomy' and then posting random observations as status messages. I just started Season 3.

Even Hubs is watching it with me!

LOL it must be a British thing then I guess? Everyone says I'm well spoken for where I come from, I assume that can only be a good thing but not sure where I've picked it up!

The reason why Season 2 is incoherent is, indeed, because it changed direction mid-season. But as far as I know, it was because the authors acquired rights for Peter Pan. From that point on they sacrificed all plot development for adjusting everything for the new Neverland arc. Colin's broken leg was surely a factor, too, but the major reason was this. I agree Season 3 is great!

Yeah, I saw that after I saw the info about Colin breaking his leg.

I got Kyle hooked on Game of Thrones so we just finished that. The boys convinced me to buy Supernatural season 1, so now we're devouring that one. I've got Downton Abbey and Once Upon a Time, but haven't started either yet.

We use the word Yeah but now quite in the same way. I would use the word yeah as an agreement... "yeah, I like that too" Or for something exciting "YEAH!!!! go team." I wouldn't use it at the end of the sentence like she does... "Lets go here, yeh?"

Too funny. Although around here the F word is used very frequently, for many reasons. Any guesses on which state I live in? LOL So it's not really about being well spoken, it's more about the repetition of the phrase. Repetition in general is something I am sensitive to.

THANK YOU all who suggested the killing! I have watched pretty much everything mentioned that is availible on netflix and hulu (can't bring myself to pay the cable man the big bucks for the other stuff!). I just finished the second season of the Killing and I want to cry I'm so happy that there is a season 3 (AND 4 now) to watch! Holy crap, great show!

Also, in addition to what has been mentioned (forgive me if I missed someone saying this one)... anyone who wants to watch a love to hate-them type of drama, I totally recommend The Tudors. Gah! I've never ever hated a character as much as I hated Henry the 8th in that series, but I still binge watched it until he got old and died because it was one of those dramas that just sucked me in... after that I had to watch The Borgias which was also awesome in the juicy drama sort of way... HOWEVER do be prepared for a gratuitous amount of sex in either of those, I seriously muted a good bit of those shows on account of the humping sounds... seriously... LOL...

LOL Oh yeah I completely forgot about the Tudors!! Great suggestion!! I'd say I hate Anne Bolyn almost as much as Henry though considering he was married and destroyed Catherine. And that hatred has carried over into hating her in Game of Thrones too because I know what she is like LOL.

I haven't seen the Borgias yet, sounds like something I would get into.

Alias is great Vanessa... binge watched that awhile back. It may seem a little dated now, but if you like girl power and spies and Bradley Cooper...yummy... it's totally worth watching.

I'm watching OITNB, The Americans and Homeland right now but love a lot of stuff that's been mentioned here.

The killing is SUPER awesome and well deserving of more hype since people rarely talk about that one.

Gossip Girl is my guilty pleasure but I can only binge watch a season at a time and then I need a few weeks off or it starts feeling repetitive because it really is pretty shallow.

This Killing is awesome! We just started season 4 last night!

Others we watch or have watched and love:

Orange is the New Black
Game of Thrones
Breaking Bad (I think it took several episodes for me to get in to it, but so worth it)
Dexter (started going down hill after season 3 or so, but I still finished it)
Nurse Jackie
Ray Donovan
Walking Dead (love love love)
The Blacklist
Downton Abbey
Sherlock (love)
Luther (maybe on bbc...it's a british show)
Homeland

Not sure if you can get some of these though...we pretty much have every channel now plus Netflix and Amazon.

We tried to watch Breaking Bad last summer and couldn't get into it. Tried again this year and watched the first 4... and by then we were hooked.
I totally agree.

Besides the alreadyecommended Orange is the New Black, Sherlock, and House of Cards, there's Battlestar Galactica (son and I are in about Season 3 of 6 or 7) and Firefly. Firefly is so, so great. And I say that impartially, not because my HS boyfriend worked on it in the Art Department.

Best line of all times in that show thus far... "bag or bat?"

I wish Netflix will be available in my country soon.. Most of my fave shows are available on iTunes only and the season passes are expensive!

Well, let's see..... I have loved these:

Bones
Lie to Me - I was SO SAD when they stopped this series. It was so "me".
Monk - this was such a funny show to me. You have to get it on disc though. It's not available on Instant.
Sons of Anarchy
Justified - I also love Boyd But, Raylan.....he is my main eye candy in the show!

We recently re watched Friends and How I Met Your Mother. Loved both of those shows.

I am really going to have to give in and watch Orange is the New Black after all of the suggestions for it and hubby and Chunky watch it and like it.

Also, I am going to HAVE to check out Chuck. I am so curious now as so many of you loved it.

I know there are more that I watch or have watched on Netflix. I will have to go through my history on there. I watch A LOT of TV. So, I may repost and add some more suggestions.

A lot of those shows are also on Amazon.. Is amazon prime in your country? They might have a monthly type of service that is similar to Netflix.

It's not many seasons old, but I really like New Girl. I watched most of Gossip Girl with Katie, which she binged watched for several months - have to say it was like watching soap operas, but better - sucked me in! Love White Collar and Covert Affairs!

We're starting The Following at my assistant's recommendation and so far it's scary, but good.

Yeah you are braver than me the following is too scary for me!

If you like New girl also try Two Broke Girls, I think they are both equally good, and on nextflix check out Don't Trust the B in Apartment C Its only like one or two seasons but I loved that show.

Amazon Prime is only for US customers, they block out all the other IP addresses. Trust me! We can get our mail through Amazon Prime US (military) but if we try to stream anything its totally cut out. If we try to VPN (virtual personal network) it is so slow that its taken us over 55 minutes to watch 20 minutes of show because of all the hangups.

Amazon and Netflix are for US/North America customers only, I think it has to do with their agreements with the shows and such. Overseas you are generally stuck with satellite TV or itunes.

Most of shows we watched are on the list. And its funny how one show is awesome to someone and someone else thinks its yuck or meh!

Our most favorites:
Walking Dead
Big Bang Theory
Dr. Who (and personally I thought that Torchwood was not good, rather cheesy in a not on purpose way like Dr Who)
Sherlock (gosh why do they have to make seasons soooo short!)
Downton Abbey
Monk
Psych
Falling Skies
Fringe
Grimm (mostly because it takes place where we are from)
Continuum

As you can see we are sci-fi fans and since we have to buy are shows, I'm not up on a lot of the non-sci-fi shows.

And LOST is great if you can watch it all on a run. We watched it while it was on TV and we liked it (but lets just say I got a little "lost" along the way too). But I re-watched it this year while working out and I totally understood/got things better this time because I didn't have a week to forget things. So that is a show that is better not on live TV.

And again...maybe I'm the weird one (side effect of awesome right?) but we watched Game of Thrones...and frankly the porn was overwhelming the story for us. So I bought the books and hopefully I can get into those. We watched the whole first season and both were like "we WANT to like it, but really how much more do we have to see to get the plot moving!"

I cannot wait to get back to the USA and be able to stream things for real on Amazon Prime, or even have cable TV (we've been without the last 3 years so we might be willing to pay for a while to get caught up!)
