FINALLY! Canadians will be getting their mail!

Just wanted to share the news that Canada Post will resume it's activities in a couple of days after 11 days of lock-out!

I've been axiously awaiting my kindle replacement power cord to finish the Bronze Horseman for two weeks now, so I can't wait to get it! And I have an Old Navy order too, that should be arriving.

wow... a 11 day back up of mail... people around me get ticked when the mail is a hour late! I wonder how long it will take to get all that back up mail delivered...

dang what do y'all do about bills and stuff that you can't pay online or have a local place for? wow...not sure what we'd do w/out mail that long

There's no bills I can't pay online...I never go to the bank or send bills through the mail. I'm just missing my Entertainment Weekly magazine and being able to send out the stuff people buy from me.

It's about time! It sucks not getting the mail! My dad and husband are contractors, and lots of people owe them money, but since there's been no mail with the strike, there's been no checks!!

Megan - most things in Canada can be paid online (I honestly can't think of 1 thing that can't be actually), but if someone wanted to pay their bill personally, they'd definitely have to take a few extra steps (call the company, find their balance & due date, then pay at a bank).

I've been waiting for a few orders from Old Navy, Etsy & Baby Steals... I'm not good at waiting normally, but then with the strike, I had to wait 2x as long!

YAY! I have been missing the mailman. DH invoices his customers and most of them send cheques through the mail, so we should have a happy payday this week! Woot!

Woot! I have 2 Old Navy orders, a new composter, and an e-bay goodie on the way. I wonder how long it will take them to get caught up?

I have an LL Bean order coming in, and some money too! Woot!

I pay everything online too, but I don't know how much to pay because I do get the actual bills through the mail, so I might be late paying some stuff this month!
