Default What is the hardest part...

...when you're doing your LOs?

For me it is where to put the title so it doesn't look like it's tacked on/squeezed in. I always struggle with this. Drives me

Anyone else have that problem?

Journaling...not much of a journaler. I'm trying to get better at that.

Narrowing down the pictures to a reasonable number per page. If I could skip that step, I'd probably get twice as many pages done.

I have the complete opposite problem...I generally have a hard time scrapping more than one or two at a time. LOL!

I have a hard time narrowing down my pictures, because I always take too many, then I have a hard time scrapping more than one to three photos per page, because it's hard to get them all to fit, and then I'm back to my original problem - how to fit my title in!!

I also find it easiest to scrap 1-3 per page, but then I'd never make a dent in all the photos I want to scrap! At least PL helps me with that (for 2013 and '14)-if I can get a bunch from a given event or photo session onto my PL page, then I can scrap just the few best by themselves. Just don't ask how much time I spend narrowing my PL photos down, LOL!

Journaling. I always put it off to last and sometimes leave it for a day.

I do the same thing!!! I scrap a page and leave the journaling for the next day all the time!

For me the hardest thing is putting in the date. I finally just starting typing it on the background somewhere because I could never get all the cute little bits to look right!

Yep, I hear you. I love it though when there's a card or something in a kit with a quote/saying/word on it that works for my photos/LO - I often use that as a title if I can't think of anything else.

it really depends on the page. sometimes i can't pick pics to go with a kit or vice versa. sometimes i can't think of a title. sometimes i can't get the pics on the page to look right. sometimes i can't get the paper patterns to mesh well, etc.

yep. i do this too. lol.

Im another that pretty much sucks at titles. I always feel like my page should have a title, so i end up squeezing it in somewhere, but im never happy with it. I need to just be ok with not having a title more.

Journaling. It's a huge struggle. I have lots of pages that is almost done, just missing the journaling.

Yep, that's my problem, too. My husband usually makes hundreds of pictures of one event, so choosing is really, really hard...

It's always been photo placement for me. Once I can figure that out, the rest is easy. That's why I rely so heavily on templates to get me started. Otherwise, I'd waste so much time moving photos around all day.

This is me, too!

A close second is finding/choosing photos, and then getting papers to mesh well. I change out papers A LOT when making a layout.

Thinking of a title! I feel like it should be catchy and sum up the page in 1-3 words, which is super hard for me to do. I am... wordy...

Wordy! I like it! I think I am wordy, too. I always think the spot that I have for the journaling is enough and then I have to cull it down to fit it all in. In the beginning, my layouts were mostly photos but that's just not the case anymore. One photo is pretty much all I need to use to get the story told. Pocket scrapping is the one time I use more than a couple of photos.

For PL... it's the limiting of photos - geez, I think that is what takes me the most time! And then making sure I still have room for jouranling. No wonder I'm 2 years behind on finishing those pages!!!

For layouts... titles... thinking of them, making them... haha, I think that is why most of titles are short, I get so sick of pulling in alphas and "building" up the title.

Definitely the journaling. I hate it. I feel like my grandkids will grow up to be the grammar police and think I'm a complete idiot!

Photo placement, my pages all kind of look similar unless I use a template, because I'm kind of throw them in the middle of the page kind of girl.
