Default RQOTD: What is your favorite condiment?

What is your favorite condiment?

Mine is definitely Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. And Arby's sauce. I could either on anything or quite honestly alone lol

MMM you asked the right person because I am obsessed with condiments.

I only eat Arby's so I can have the arby's sauce.

I only eat fish so I can have malt vinegar.

I love spicy mustard. Especially with pretzels.

I like curry ketchup, which is the kind they serve in Germany, and other parts of Europe too.

I love THIS and I buy it at Jungle Jim's

I have this one in my fridge, too!

We have all kinds of cute condiment cups in my cabinet because we love condiments so much LOL

garlic hummus

I know it's not a real condiment, but we've started using it like one and LOVE it!

I'm not a big condiment person either. I like ranch but it has to be certain ranches... mostly from restaurants. I like honey mustard sometimes. BBQ is good, but I usually have to mix it with stuff. Like meat. LOL

I don't use a lot of condiments. The one I use most often is ketchup. We have a lot of condiments at our house, however, since DH and SS are condiment fiends.

Malt vinegar & other vinegars are probably my favorites. I add vinegar to all sorts of things.

I like A1 sometimes on steak or burgers

I also like Miracle Whip in certain specific situations

pico de gallo 'cause really there are only 2 food groups...tex mex and chocolate.

however, i've been known to eat mustard on everything from french fries to sandwiches to chicken crispers and more. just the plain yellow kind...not that spicy stuff.

and i hate. loathe. vehemently despise ketchup.

ranch. But Im a ranch snob and refuse to eat ranch from a bottle. And I know which restaurants have the "GOOD" ranch- Chilis, Logan's Roadhouse, Mr. Gattis pizza (yumm....ranch on pizza), Red Robin.

And I'm a mayo snob...I only eat it on Publix or Subway subs...otherwise it grosses me out.

Is garlic a condiment?

But seriously, I love the ranch at Native New Yorker Restaurants, Woody's BBQ Sauce Concentrate, and sometimes on burgers ketchup, but really only Heinz.

I don't do a lot of condiments. Mustard for burgers, ketchup for fries, that's about it. I despise mayo, anything ranch, and only use a dry rub on BBQ, not sauce.

We totally use hummus (especially garlic hummus) as a condiment in our house! On veggie burgers, as a dip of course, on sandwiches instead of mayo/MW. We don't use processed condiments but make our own and use lots of different vinegars too. On French fries we've got to have vinegar! I love organic mustards too. We love to roast a head of garlic and use it as a spread on sandwiches also.

Arby's sauce is a definite!

I don't eat dairy products at all, so when I was younger and complained about dry potatoes one evening,my mom poured Catalina salad dressing on them as she was was putting it on my salad - now I can't eat potatoes or perogies (potato, onion & bacon - no cheese!) without it!!

I definitely agree about being a ranch snob. For whatever reason restaurants...especially Bob Evans...have the BEST ranch.

And definitely a Miracle Whip snob. I can tell if my mom doesn't use it in her potato salad and what not.

I really wish I could duplicate arby's sauce at home.

my very favorite condiment - hands down - is the spicy olive muffalata from that pickle guy ... they sell it in costcos in the illinois (maybe elsewhere too) and we just randomly bought it one day. now i order it online by the case - we go through one jar per week or so. we put it on everything !!! we even plan dinners based on whether we can use muffalata on it LOL! it's THAT good!

as far as "regular" condiments go - i only like mustard (the spicier/grainier the better) and steak sauce (A1, etc) - i cannot stand ketchup or mayo - at all! i like barbecue sauce too - but am not a big fan of ranch.

I'm the only one in the family who doesn't like ketchup. My condiment of choice is Dijon mustard but I use it mainly for cooking. I have sweet relish and ordinary mustard only on hot dogs. I have mayo in chicken, tuna or egg salad (real mayo - Miracle Whip is just plain nasty, lol!) I also like a little tartar sauce with white fish.

That's about it. I'm not a condiment/dipping fan. I prefer my food plain.

I'm not a condiment person. Ketchup on a few things, but most things without condiments. On the other hand, except for desserts I've never met a food that couldn't be improved by a slice of cheese.
