Default I would like to thank..

Traci Reed on her tutorials over at Creative Live.

(i'm surprised there isn't a post on this yet)

I watched the video on both days and really helped my thinking on how to scrapbook. A lot of aha & ooohh moments. That's exactly what i been looking for lately. now i'm even more motivated to scrap. (and i will when i'm not overwhelmed with other things.)

Once again, thanks

I watched all 3 days too and even though I've been digi-scrapping for nearly a decade, I learned quite a few things!

One big thing is that I really would be able to do more if I used full Photoshop instead of Elements.

I only caught parts of it but I learned how to create realistic stitching which was something I always wondered about. Thank you Traci!

Yes, a very big thank you to Traci! I'm still coming to grips with some stuff but I'm having fun playing around in photoshop. Big aha moment when I realised I could use the pen tool to shape a path for text. No more fiddling around with journalling trying to fit around things!

It looks like they are still replaying the last class today so you can still watch it free. The classes were $29 each, but I think they are going up to $39 soon.

I caught most of the last class between seeing it live and on replay. I saw a bit of the first one too, but none of the second. Work and other things had me too busy. I did learn a couple of photoshop tricks. After watching Traci do a few pages on the show, I was definitely motivated to scrap. I ended up doing one page but then started organizing my kits. LOL

Thanks, Traci! I've been digiscrapping since 2004 but still learned so much from the classes. I've been using new keyboard shortcuts, loading things into PS differently, trying out the shape and pen tools, and will be redoing my custom shadow styles soon.
