PSP Users... Is there a Way to...
line-up titles? I use the grid to line mine up or just eyeball it. Is there an easier way?

Not that I have discovered. The grid is my best and only friend for lining things up. Hopefully someone else will be able to tell us both a better method.

I never found anything when I used PSP. I don't use it anymore, so I don't know if something's been added. I never really used anything but my eyeball anyways cuz I like it to be just a bit off. My paper pages weren't ever aligned perfectly, so I like my digi pages to have that feel too. Sometimes I purposely move a letter up or down, or twist it to the left or right just a bit to give the title some personality
Good luck! I hope you can figure something out!! |

If they are vectors you can go under Objects, Align and have them either centered in the canvas, centered horizontally in the center of the page, centered vertically in the page or align to the top, left, right or bottom of the page. Other than that, I don't think there's a way.

You mean line up your alpha letters so they are even? If so, go to View>Rulers & View>Guides. Then go into the rule and pull down a guide, put it where you want and line up alpha on your guideline.

And they're not vectors. I mean using alphas from kits and such. |

You can use the numbers on the top to line them up by setting one of them the same for all of them. This works as long as the letter has no "tail" like g,q,y,j. I just do not remember which number it is. I nudge my letters with the arrow keys and see which numbers move up/down and then align it that way.

I use the guide line. It's different from the grid mostly in appearance. I find having the grid lines over everything visually distracting. The guide is just one line you drag to where you want it. There is a 'snap to guide' option somewhere, probably the same place as the 'snap to grid" box, that way the letter automatically lines up with the grid.
I put my title in a layer group so I can move it around as a unit or resize it all in one go easily |

Thank you for the tips and the guide/grid difference. I'm going to try them all and see if I like them better than my current method.

I use the grid. I have tried eyeballing it but it always is crooked. Then I never notice till I save it. So i stick to the grid.

The grid is really distracting to me and with the guideline I can put it wherever I want and even use the rulers to make things even. Then when it's all lined up, I make the alpha all one layer to move normally.
