Default Book lovers... here.. now....

Okay... we had no power most of last night... I had started the first book in a Nora Roberts trilogy before the power went out. I was so into it that I read by flashlight and then.. yes.. went outside into the storm to get the other two books out of my car. Seriously, that good. I was up until past 1 reading the last one. Amazing. Please, go get them. Read them. They are amazing. They center around goddesses and mythology, and they are so captivating. It's the Key trilogy... Key of Light, Key of Knowledge, Key of Valor. You HAVE to read them in order. Please... let me know if you liked them.. I wish there were more.....

Do it! If you like Nora Roberts, you will love them, I promise.

I will say the first 80 or so pages of the 1st one are kind of hard to get into. Lots of mythology, but if you can get past that..... they are excellent.

You promise that they are not like her formula romances - I love her but with some of her books its like she was just churning them out - These sound like they are different - are they?

I think I have just about every single one of her books...they're pretty much great reads...There are quite a few trilogies (and whatever you would call a series of 4) with supernatural themes running through them...The "In the Garden" trilogy and the "Gallagher's of Ardmore" may be my favorites, but on the more mythologically based side, there's the "Circle Trilogy" (as mentioned)and the "Three Sisters Island" trilogy. Nonnie's right, after reading most of her books, you see her "formula" for them, you come to recognize the characters...but they're still good reads! Oh, she's in the middle of a new trilogy...not sure what the name of it is, but the books are called Blood Brothers and The Hollow.

I also love the futuristic "romantic suspense" novels she writes as JD Robb...Seriously, I have a big bookshelf just full of Nora Roberts/JD Robb. It's a bad addiction...

Those sound good! I'll have to add them to my "to buy" list. I just placed an Amazon.co.uk order for 6 new books, DH wouldn't be pleased if I added more since I have like 20 "to read" books on my nightstand as it is! LOL

They sound interesting. I haven't read any Nora Roberts I don't think. I'll have to see what the library has in stock.

I don't know how to answer that Nonnie & Jac.. as I heart Nora. I love her JD Robb series, love them all. I think they're different. I'll say this.. maybe it will help. I have never been as compelled to finish a book and start another as I was last night.

Shannon, I'm adding the Circle trilogy to my library list right now. Thanks!!!

I've read those two trilogies, plus more... I have to be very careful to watch for the "NR" seal to make sure I'm buying a new book, and not just a repackaged set.

i read those awhile back. they are good! I just finished book two in her new trilogy Sign of the Seven. EXCELLENT. But the third and last book doesn't come out until DECEMBER. I have to wait 6 months to read the last part! I also read the Circle Trilogy. I love anything witha supernatural theme to it.

another Nora Roberts fan here. I have read just about every single book - haven't gotten into the JD Robb stuff yet. I really luck out, our librarian, who happened to have lived next door to us for 1.5 years before we moved to our new place, is also a huge fan, so I have been able to read everything.

Yah, like I need another book . I took pics the other night, close ups so I could read the titles and had well over 36 photos because some were dupes; and that still is probably only about 1/2 to 2/3 of them, lol.

These are my absolute FAV books of hers!! I've read them more than once and I still love them! I just finished the first book of her new triology. The title is Blood Brothers and the triology is called The Sign of Seven Triology. Awesome read. I love Nora Roberts!!!

I also read all of of her books written under the pen name JD Robb. Super murder mystery/love story books!

I don't think I've ever read anything from Nora Roberts, but those sound really good! Will have to look into those as soon as I read the Twilight books (waiting on book 1 to be available @ the library, I have books 2 & 3 ready to go though!) and finish the Outlander books (ready for book 3 of that series)!
