Red ... which is my favorite color. My bridesmaids wore red and I had red roses everywhere.

What about you Kristin?

mine was lavendar and cream

Looking back now if I were to do it over I would either do teal & brown or I would do a fall wedding with a variety of fall colors and wildflowers <3

Black and Red

Black bridesmaid dresses with red roses...but the reception was completely different with red/white checkered table clothes and wildflowers in coke bottles.

We had an elegant wedding with a laid-back reception.

my colors were chosen based on finding CHEAP bridesmaid dresses at a second hand shop... it had to go with the lavender beading in my dress...

If I had to do it over, I probably would totally embraced more of the fall colors - (we got married in Sept)... orange, reds, yellows... in my late 20's, they were not my favorite colors... haha... now they are...

Blue and yellow - soft blue and soft yellow - think daisies and bluebells.

Purple - all shades, and chocolate brown. I told people to wear whatever they looked good in. I was not into fancy things. Not sure if I would be now either. I'm such an introvert.

Yeah, I'm really surprised about the volume of people that chose purple/lavender in our community. I don't think I've been to very many weddings with purple/lavender ... and I've been to well over 50 weddings (probably closer to 100).

Ours were baby pink and navy blue. Girls wore baby pink, the guys wore black tux with pink vests/ties and DH wore his Marine Corps dress blues. All of our flowers were mostly whites and pinks with a touch of the blue to match his uniform. It was very pretty, but not something I'd choose for today. However, this was nearly 23 years ago! It was an April wedding, so it was very 'Spring-y'.

I guess it was lavender, since that's the color of the dress I wore. It was only that because it was the only dress that fit when we went to Kohl's.

I didn't really have colors. my bridal party wore pewter dresses and each carried a different jewel toned bouquet of calla lilies.

That's exactly how I feel! Our wedding was in October and I wanted just gold and white for my colors. What I ended up with was "blah", champagne/taupe, no color at all. I wish I'd just gone ahead and done the whole fall thing...which I wasn't crazy about then, but LOVE now!

a darker shade of lavender and silver.

If I had it to do all over again I would go with teal. And would hire a professional photographer. I HATE my wedding photos.

Another fall wedding here! My two sisters were the Maid and Matron of Honor, and wore a deep plum color. My Bridesmaids wore navy. It was lovely! And the flowers were deep and rich in lots of colors, with red roses as the main flower... Kristin, I STILL have wedding photos to scrap and I.would.die. for a kcb kit in these colors. (It will be 10 years this October. You would be doing me a GREAT service).

Mine was pale gold and burgundy. It was a last-minute decision because I couldn't make up my mind, but I am happy I did Now I love the idea of teal and bronze, or turquoise and red

Ours were black and silver. I was able to tell my bridesmaids to get any black dress they liked (with a few guidelines about length and sleeves), and my maid of honor wore a silver dress. Everything looked beautiful and very elegant, which is funny because DH and I are such casual people.

I'm with you on the photographer. Mine was a pro, but weddings were just a side business for her and she wasn't very good at them. Of course, DH didn't make it easy on her. He hates being photographed and didn't want to take the time to go outside for a shoot, and she didn't have enough experience with wedding clients to explain about the synagogue's bad lighting and gently encourage him to do just a few. Everything was still film in '98, so there was no way for us to know how badly they were all coming out until it was too late to do anything about it. If we'd known he would have been more cooperative.

Aqua (with pink accenets in the flowers). I carried a white gardenia bouquet. That was in 1988!

Do we believe the one that said "neon green"?

Mine were antique ivory and dusty rose. And I MADE my gown, the flower girl's dress and one bridesmaid's dress -- she live 3,000 miles away and couldn't try on the gown until the night before!

I had a Christmas wedding. Our church always decorates with deep royal purple and silver, so that was my colors too. It was really nice not having to decorate the church.

Pink and black - bridesmaids wore light pink and that was chosen because I found 5 off-theack dresses in their sizes for $40 each. My flowers though were rubrum lilies so that brought in darker pink. Men wore black tuxes. 22 years ago.

Oh ha Julie!! These were my flowers too, except I called them by a different name.
