Let's talk shoes!
I haven't bought any shoes (aside from $2 flip flops) for a couple years now.
 Now I'm on the hunt for something pretty specific and I can't find it! I just ordered a black and white houndstooth dress and now I'm set on having some fabulous mustard yellow heels to go with it.  I found these that I love.... but they're out of stock and I don't know if they'll be restocking them. And I've been searching and searching the web and can't find any other yellow heels that I love! Please point me towards your fave shoe stores... or towards some yellow heels. hehe Oh, and they can't be crazy high... preferably under $60 AND I'd love if they had an embellishment of some sort on them (ruffle, flower, bow, or bonus points if they're Mary Janes). lol

lol. Actually, I can't wear long inseams. I have a long torso & shorter legs. Regular pants usually are the perfect length. Talls are inches too long! lol
And, I think mustard shoes would rock, but I'd do hot pink, personally!

Another big-footed woman here. I wear a size 11. I am tall tho (5'10") so my feet are in proportion to my body. I don't even worry about wearing high heels. I just wore strappy 3 inch heels to my son's graduation last week. Yup... I was well over 6 feet tall. What is funnier is that my DH is much shorter than me. LOL But even with my shoes on... I wasn't anywhere close to being as tall as my son. He is a little over 6'4" and hasn't stopped growing yet.
I think any bright color would be great with that dress. At least you have the dress. I have actually bought shoes that I adored and then didn't have anything to wear with them. It is harder to find a dress to match oddly colored shoes than the other way around.

That dress is SO cute!
I am tall too (5'9") and my feet are 8.5 - 9... but I have narrow heels so I can't wear shoes without a strap around the ankle. It makes me so frustrated trying to buy shoes!

Have you tried www.zappos.com? They have free shipping and free returns.
I'm 6' tall, and wear a size 13 shoe. Not an easy size to find. But I got a great pair of sandals from Zappos this spring. Love them! I should probably order a 2nd pair to have for when I wear these out. The other place I've been able to find shoes is www.Nordstrom.com.

I like to wear heels too... I just have problems walking in the really HIGH ones. I'm kinda clumsy sometimes and don't always pick my feet up enough when I walk. hahaQuote:

These might be too gold, but they are super cute!
 Also, since all of the embellished ones seem to be super expensive, keep in mind that you could just buy some simple pumps and then add your own satin flower embellishments.

that dress is darlling! and i agree yellow shoes would look great, but i think red would too. sassy lol. i'm tall too. around 5'10. i usually wear a 8.5 shoe, sometimes a 9. i've even on occasion squeesed into an 8. depends on the shoe. but i never wear heels. i love them, find cute ones all the time and try them on but i don't have anywhere to wear them. to the grocery store? though i did see some girl a few months ago at WalMart wearing skinny jeans and some super cute red heels. but she looked uncomfortable like they hurt her feet; she was leaining heavily on the cart when she walked lol.
