#3: I love Aly's gallery, so when I saw this challenge, I knew immediately that I wanted to lift one of her layouts. Her pages are always so full of detail, and I absolutely adore her layering, and ability to scrap multiple photos while still keeping the focus of the page on the photos. I chose to lift her gorgeous layout Mr. Moody, and spun it clockwise.

This week I chose to do #1 - 'this year I am going to'... I wanted to scrap about my goals for the year. I'm not big on resolutions, but I like the idea of having some of my thoughts written down so that I can look at them every once in awhile and remember the things I want to focus on in 2015!

Make 1/3 of your page a really big title....I always look at paper scrapbook pages with larger titles and fall in love with them. These stamps by Cindy made making a really large title flawless!

For me this month could have gone for either square, but I lifted myself. I love, love, love looking back through my own gallery and the pages I have made. And, let's be honest, we all think our OWN kids make the cutest pages. I think it is the best to lift yourself, because who scraps more like you than you? You can be your own best inspiration.

I've got 2 layouts done so far for the Bingo challenges Yay me!
First one up is " An Icy Color Scheme." Living in the midwest means I have a plethora of winter photos! I love this one from this past Christmas of us standing on a pond. I thought Kristin's new release Winter Blues would be perfect match with the blues of the ice. And of course I wanted to have fun with the title! I used Shawna's A Little Bit of This - Simple Statement Alpha and Chippy Alphas - Neutral along with one of the alphas included in the kit. I love it For my 2nd challenge layout - I choose to scraplift myself! Though this page first started out being for the big title challenge - I just couldn't get it to work! I decided to lift Hello Friend . I absolutely adore this photo of my boys with their Mickey's and Melissa's kit was a perfect match!

This week I got three done! The first is for the "Hello 2015" because I do PL and well, it was a fitting page. lol
The second I chose to do was the scraplift yourself. I think that it took me almost as long to pick out which page to lift as it did to actually make the page. lol! I ended up going with one of my absolute favorite pages that I have never been brave enough to tackle re-creating. It was one of the first pages that I added my own doodles to, so I thought it would be fun to try it out again. The doodles are parts to one of my favorite songs "All I Want Is You" by Barry Louis Polisar. Original: New Lift: and lastly... I did the challenge for combining a script and serif font together on your page. I used them to do the boys' names. I didn't really have any journaling to add to the page, but still wanted to make the names a little different, so it was perfect for the challenge.

OK- I got another one done for the challenges. This one was for flip a template. I adore templates, because they help me when my brain is stuck, and of course I always ADORE every single thing that Cindy makes. This is her new set this week Template Set #190. I flipped it counter-clockwise. Some of the reasons I like to flip a template are to make it more my own and also to incorporate the photo orientation I want to use. Sometimes I love a template, but the photos are vertical and I need horizontal, or vice versa... such a great way to use the photos I want, and the starting point of an awesome design!

I also did #4 this week: Use at least four 3x4 pocket cards on a page. I don't scrap pocket pages or Project Life, so it's not very often that I get use pocket cards on a page, other than as a journaling card, and there are so many gorgeous ones out there that I've often wanted to use, but didn't know where to start. I especially love Cindy's layered cards - they come in so many varieties that there's something to suit everyone. So when I saw this challenge, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to use a few on one page, even if it's not a traditional pocket page, and I really enjoyed using them.

When I saw the wordstrips in La's Stay Weird kit, I knew they would be perfect for the Journaling with Word Strips challenge. Once I had the wordstrips in place on this layout, nothing more needed to be said; it was perfect!

I picked #12 Scrap a bad photo. I have this photo of my daughters that I just love, although it's not a "good" one. I still scrapped it because I want to remember the story/memory behind it.

Use at least four 3x4 pocket cards on a page:
Last one!! I'm DONE! At the start of the month I was aiming just to complete a pattern, but since I'm on holidays all month I found I had enough time to do the blockout! It will probably be the only month in the whole year I'll manage this... I love how the completed bingo cards look!!

Loving all these layouts! I'm working on a pattern this month. I thought about doing the blackout, but I'm trying to catch up on PL and some of my pages won't work with the challenges. I *will* do it at least once! For now I've got 2 left to go, flip a template and use an icy color scheme.
Here's my page for mixing script and sans serif fonts, half of my PL layout.

I did these a few days ago but my laptop charger broke so I couldn't post them
Top 10 list (including a spelling mistake because I'm too lazy to upload the right one lol) Combine script and sans serif

#15 - Hello 2015 - I really love how this one turned out and I love how these challenges are helping me to scrap more and I can scrap at my own pace without becoming too overwhelmed!
#1 - This Year I'm Going To ... | This is my OLW - FOCUS and I think this one turned out better than I expected as well. I am working really hard on bettering my clustering skills & shadowing! And I just love the colors!
