Jordan's up at the Penn State game. I'm SO glad I didn't go. He said it was crazy humid and gross. I would have been SO miserable.
I'm sitting here right now trolling the internet for bridge engineer jobs, and man is it slim pickings. Pathetic.

My gf just texted me and is gonna take me to an early lunch tomorrow. She's gonna be passing through my area tomorrow, which is unusual, so that should be a good time.

I picked out the paint color for the nursery, and the paint/stain for the deck. So Jordan will be going to buy that stuff at some point. Not gonna paint the nursery til after vacation, but HD is having a sale so we'll take advantage.

Um. Otherwise not a whole lot going on. Some cleaning, hopefully a lot of crafting, and some relaxing.

our's started early...

yesterday we did some shopping and bought some chairs and fabric and spray paint... and we bought shoes for the kids... and I might have bought some other stuff too LOL

today we went to Home Depot for the Kids workshop... and then we came back and Mark's been working on getting things set up so we can move all the furniture from our living room into the family room... and I've been working on the chairs... tho, I had to pack it up early since it's about to rain... and I need to run out and get some more paint LOL

tomorrow I sing on the worship team in the morning and Sunday is a rest day/family day for us and we'll probably all take naps lol... then our bible study small group is getting together for a BBQ

Monday we'll continue working on house stuff... and I'm thinking I'll have pics up on the blog here of some of the stuff we did this weekend.

We are going to a Renaissance Festival on Monday - temperatures are supposed to drop after a storm blows through tomorrow.

Other than that - staying in the a/c and playing farmville!

I will continue with my exciting routine of nursing, feeding, pumping, washing, etc. Newborns are awesome.

Visiting two friends in the hospital who had babies...one Thursday night and the other scheduled for a c-section in about 45 minutes.

Probably going to the casino tonight.

Tomorrow we're going scalloping in Homosassa. Hubby has to work (at least for a little bit) on Monday so not sure we'll do much then.

L.J. went camping at Fort Wilderness at Disney all weekend with my parents so we've got a kid-free weekend.

Oh, we have lots on our plate! Feel free to swing by, LW, and help out.

So far, we have Monkey's bedroom mostly set up and the living room set up-ish. The kitchen/dining room is a wreck. I'm glad that I can't see it from my spot on the couch while I type this. DH is at the old apt cleaning and giving the keys back. I need to find out where all the pictures and picture frames went for the LR, and I really should get the kitchen set up before bedtime tonight. More unpacking and cleaning the new place tomorrow. Blegh.

I think I've convinced DH that we need to go to the beach Monday afternoon, though, as it will not only be LOTS cooler, but it closes after this weekend and Monkey's only been once this summer. If my ILs aren't sick of us yet (having helped DH pack and move this week after I went up to be with my family for my grandma's visitation + funeral), maybe we will have a picnic with them at the park/beach. That was on my summer to do list, so I guess I just have this one last shot!

Oh, and I should prolly scrap since I haven't in OVER A WEEK! *gasp*

So thankful that there's a cool front coming in...from 100s to the 80s, with lows in the 50s...woot!
Church tomorrow, and then I'm thinking Rachel and I will head up to the zoo on Monday to enjoy the weather. Her BFF will be going with her family too, so we might try to meet them up there.

The other fun thing...I told her we were going to have a 'fashion show'...ie, she's going to try on last fall's pants and dresses to see what fits and what doesn't. We'll also try to pick out an outfit for school pics, which are on Thursday. Need to find something that matches one of her headbands, since her bangs haven't fully grown in from where she scalped herself this summer.

Right?!?!?! AMEN!

No plans at all this evening. Church tomorrow morning, then I'm supposed to help with a concession stand at a mud volleyball tournament that's being put on to benefit the girls' dance program. On Monday we're going to a Labor Day thing in the town where my brother lives. It's about 30 minutes from us and they have a carnival, games for the kids, etc. I told mom that I'm only going if it's in the 80's or 90's. If it's supposed to be in the 100's, I'm staying home in the a/c. I've had it with the heat.

We had a birthday party today, we are going to visit friends in San Diego for a BBQ tomorrow, and we are hosting a BBQ here at home on Monday. Something every day until school starts Wednesday. I think we start school later than anyone else does.

Emma we are neighbors.

Is it me or is it getting ridiculous on FV? I don't like when they add six new things at once. Wildlife Habitats, pet corrals and now a zoo too? Le sigh. If I didn't love tree farming so much I would just give it all up again.

NOTHING!!!!! I love it too. My life has been WAY too busy the last couple of weeks so I am glad I get a couple days to recover. This morning I took Landon to the zoo for a couple of hours just us. The baby stayed home with daddy. It was fun but totally wore me out! Yes, I am that old and pathetic! LOL I am going out with a friend tonight to get a drink. A DRINK. I don't need one of those nights!

Tomorrow, church and then nothing for the rest of the day. Monday - NOTHING.

Can you tell that I am excited about no plans? LOL

Well, you won't be living vicariously through me - LOL. Last night and today I had my friend's girls here (my friend who has kidney disease and is in a nursing home now Her girls just started living with their dad full time last week when she was admitting to the nursing home, and it's been an emotional roller coaster for them and me and my DD )

I worked last night and today while the girls played. I'm going to do some more work right now when I get done here and work tomorrow all day while DD is at her uncle's. Monday I am working in the morning (6-10) and then a scrapping friend is coming over with her 2 kids so I can teach her more digi scrapping while the kids play. Monday night Cheyanne and I are going to make invitations for spa/slumber party for her birthday in a couple weeks.

Supposed to rain here tomorrow and Monday anyway. So all in all, a pretty boring weekend!

We took yesterday off from school so we could all get our "hairs did" at the Paul Mitchell school. While it's a great bargain (for me anyway, their cuts cost the same there or at Sport Clips), it took for.ev.er! So it swallowed nearly our entire day. Anyway--the boys will have school on Monday instead, to make up for the missed day yesterday.

Today we spent out shopping and I'm really feeling it. Stick a fork in me, blah blah blah. Tomorrow--I rest, after church, of course. And by rest I mean menu planning, folding laundry, maybe a little grocery shopping...

The weekend is almost over for us. It is Fathers Day today, as well as my Mum's birthday. My kids have been staying with my Mum and Dad this weekend, so we celebrated Fathers day on Thursday, and I'll see my Mum and Dad this afternoon when I go to pick up the kids.

I made DH take me out to dinner at a Mongolian BBQ place last night. It was awesome. He's not so much into trying new restaurants these days, so I had to put my foot down and tell him it wasn't negotiable. LOL. We both enjoyed our meals, and it was nice to be out like on a date without kids again.

Both kids are under the weather so our plans are to stay home and take it easy. We're supposed to go to DH's parents' for a cookout on Monday but I'm not sure we're going to make it.

Today is hubby and I's 7th wedding anniversary... so we traveled a whole 20min to Green Bay and spending a few nights in a hotel (Hubby worked radio this morning)... yesterday we went to the Kites over Lake Michigan Festival and today we will tour Lambeau Field - we've gone through it before - hubby is a stockholder with the Packers... but we haven't been through the Hall of Fame and see the Super Bowl Trophy...

Not sure what we will do tomorrow...
