My oldest boy closed on his first home earlier this month. He ships out for work a month on/month off for his job and had to leave for work the morning after he closed on the house so he didn't get to move in or spend a single night in his new place before he left. While he's been gone, my husband and I have been working hard cleaning his house, making minor repairs, getting his stuff moved in, decorating, etc. It was a ton of work and $$ but it makes me happy that we were able to do it for him. He comes home on Wednesday for the big reveal. Hopefully he likes everything we have done! While I'm a little sad that he is leaving the nest, I'm excited for him to start this new chapter of life!
