Help someone who is not into shoes at all

I have a christmas party to go to on the 11th. I'm not someone who dresses up and avoids it like the plague.

Now I need to find other shoes (from amazon (.ca) because nothing else will arrive on time)

I'm hoping to buy something I could use for normal everyday wear as well so i'm not wasting money on something i'll only wear once or twice.

A lot of the shoes would come after the 11th to where I am but there are some that show december 9th.

The only dress shoes I have are dressier sandals but I have to find something to cover up my tan line from the summer because with the walking I was doing you can still see my sock line because of the tan and it's really embarrassing.

I realize some of you will likely gasp in horror at the thought of buying shoes off amazon but I just don't have options where I am and we aren't going to the city beforehand lol

I do like those but they aren't available in my size (7.5) The ones I bought I feel like i'm leaning forward in them? I don't know how else to explain it LOL

I wear flats only now that I am older and larger but when I was young I stuck to bigger heels or wedges, no skinny heels. I think the second boots you posted would make it more grunge.

I went to hubby's office party, and one of the ladies was wearing a similar dress to yours, and she had boots that came over her knee that were FLATS. She looked so stylish yet comfortable. I'd love a pair of those boots!

Also, for future, you could purchase some sunless tanner to cover up your tan lines or at least make them look less pronounced! Than you can wear any fun shoes you want!

I know exactly what you mean about leaning forward. That's why I can't wear platforms any more. The ones that Amie found are really cute, so I hope they have them in your size!
