Just for fun, let's play a three question version of "last thing".

...last thing you bought?

...last TV show/movie you watched?

Here are my answers!

...last thing you bought?

We went to the garden centre and bought a trunkful of new plants. I live in an urban home with a small backyard, so we gave up on grass and converted everywhere around the patio into garden beds. Today I'm going to be outside, digging in the dirt and dropping all our new plants in. I think it's going to look amazing!

...last time you had a big laugh?

When I was putting my four year old son to bed last night, he was so full of big questions -- Does the ocean have a solid surface? Do nightmares exist in our imagination? Such big words for my little guy!

...last TV show/movie you watched?

I'm watching West Wing on Netflix now. I didn't watch it when it was airing on tv years ago -- but I'm really liking it now!

...last thing you bought?

Bias tape to fix my daughter's new princess dress (princess shoes wreaked havoc on the hem), and a new shaving kit for my husband for Father's day.

...last time you had a big laugh?

This morning. My 3yo daughter was running around the house (it's raining, so we are more lenient), and he jumped out to scare her and it made her cry. I lightened the mood by having the baby (4 months) jump out in front of her and say in a baby voice "Boo!", which made us all crack up.

...last TV show/movie you watched?

The series finale of Psych (finally!)

...last thing you bought?
actual tangible thing? ummm...aside from groceries & necessities, a pair of shoes for my son.
for myself? the Veronica Mars movie.

...last time you had a big laugh?
Probably at work yesterday. My co-workers and I have really random & hilarious conversations, though at the moment I cannot recall anything specific.

...last TV show/movie you watched?
Royal Pains. Before that, Into the Abyss, because I am obsessed with documentaries lately!

...last thing you bought?
Does a pizza count? If not, then it was heavy-duty sleeping bags for tall people that we found at Walmart on clearance (SCORE!) and supplies to restock our first aid box.

...last time you had a big laugh?
Last night with my kids when my son rage-quit the Game of Life. It was a Minecraft joke and he played it perfectly.

...last TV show/movie you watched?
Dear, Mr. Watterson with my boys last night - a Calvin and Hobbes documentary. Then bits of a Godzilla movie I was too traumatized to really remember. I play-hate Godzilla movies just to bug the boys because they love them so much. I'm not a fan, but did my duty last night as it was boys' night and Dad was working.

Heddy - West Wing is just about the best television series ever written. Then came Sherlock, but until then, West Wing was amazing as far as good television goes (at least until you get to the last season with the new Presidential Election)

... last thing you bought?
Does ordering via internet count? I ordered myself softshell pants, it's gonna be sewn right for me which means it will be long enough.

... last time you had a big laugh?
My DH tries to do 50 pushups/day, my younger DD (5 years) heard me once as I was kidding and counting him his pushups "seven, eight, nine, ten, ten, ten, ten..." So now, whenever I hear her clear voice over the house with "ten, ten, ten, ten" I know daddy's doing his pushups and I have to laugh.

... last TV show/movie you watched?
Ice Age 1 with kids. For like fifth time this year. (And got teary-eyed at the end again.)

Absolutely agree about West Wing. There are only a handful of TV series that I can watch over and over again--West Wing is one of them!

(others include Buffy and Gilmore Girls)

...last thing you bought? Books... lots and lots of books... new curriculum for kiddo that we are going to try out this summer to see how we like it...

...last time you had a big laugh? Hmm... it is sad that I don't know? I'm always laughing at things J says or the banter between DH and I... but for a BIG Laugh? Probably last weekend when Mom and I went on a mission to find Organic plants for the garden and headed out our old stomping grounds. We always find something to laugh about... and ironically we passed my dad (parents divorced) on the road... we were just driving around on roads we haven't been on in years and here comes my dad, working (driving milk truck) toward us... that was more or an ironic funny... haha

...last TV show/movie you watched? That would The Fosters on Netflixs... its the tv show that hubby and I are hooked on watching for our couple time each night.

...last time you had a big laugh?

...last TV show/movie you watched?

I'm in the middle of a nine hour drive so my answers are a bit different...

Bought? A t shirt from the resort where we spent the last week. I wanted to be super comfy on the drive so I got the biggest size they had, a 2XL.

Laughed? Probably when going down a water slide yesterday. My tube flipped as I came down and I busted up laughing. I laughed a lot this week.

TV show or movie? The only time I turned on the TV this week was to watch SYTYCD. But then we went and saw the new X-Men movie so I think that was the last thing. Loved the movie.

...last thing you bought? Paint for my soon-to-be craft room. My walls are now a gorgeous aqua

...last time you had a big laugh? In the Home Depot parking lot, a bug flew into me and landed on my shirt, which startled me and made me brush it off my shirt real fast. It hit my husband and he looked at it and showed me it was just a ladybug. I was apologizing to the ladybug for hitting it when a car beeped at us. All my antics were right in front of two cars that wanted to move through the parking lot. I must have looked crazy. So I got a big laugh out of that.

...last TV show/movie you watched? I watched the Bachelorette on abc.com the other day, it was the first episode and I'm not sure I'll keep watching.

Korean variety shows are awesome. I'm following Running Man and Infinity Challenge, but I'm always looking to add to my list. I haven't heard of the SBS Roommate (or maybe I only know the Korean name). Is it good?

Laugh? Today I asked one of the kids to grab my bag and apparently I sounded like a little old lady. So the whole afternoon they mimicked me and we cracked up every time.

Bought? A shirt, some photos and a stuffed animal at Disneyland Paris.
Laughed? Today in the car back home, when the broken sound system made a really funny bass-drum version of 'Circle of Life'.
Show? Disney Dreams last night at Disneyland Paris! Haven't watched tv for a couple of days, since I was over there.

Speaking as a non-Jolie fan, I thought it was pretty good. Rachel (8) hated it, but I think she's still at the cartoon stage, kwim? It was an interesting concept, to look at the story from the villain's POV. But I'm not totally sure it worked for me. All-in-all, it was an enjoyable movie...I wouldn't have wanted to pay $9 to see it, but it was worth the 4.75 I paid for the ticket.

...last time you had a big laugh?
Over the weekend, a friend of mine was telling me a story about her little brother and how he was so upset when he found out how babies were born and that she was born c-section and he came out the other way lol

...last TV show/movie you watched?
Whatever Kennedy makes me watch. We watched Wall-E last night but today it's been Disney channel all day.
