Default What's for dinner?

So we can't decide whether to have Spaghetti or ice cream....I know what the responsible choice is and it took me back...to when I lived in Germany and could get Spaghetti Ice off the ice cream truck for 5 Deutch Marks. Tabatha is intrigued so I look it up to show her...it's made it's way stateside! Check it out!

http://spaghettiicecream.com/welcome.htm

I think we are having spaghetti for real tho. What are you eating?

Spaghetti Ice! i remember getting that off the truck in Germany too! i remember listening for that music of the truck and running down the 4 flights of stairs (we were on the top floor, lol) and going to get my yummy gelato! that ice cream was the BOMB! i think when were there (just a few short years ago) it was like 50 euro cents for a small cone, but up to like 1.50 or 2 euro for the spaghetti ice or other sundaes. SO good! i miss it! we went to Trier once while we were there and ate at this quaint little ice cream parlor. they had cute little wafers and real fruit in the gelato. to DIE for!!

oh, and we're having a Stouffers vegetable lasagna. i just put it in and they take FOREVER to cook. probably won't be done til around 6 possibly 7, lol.

I'm considering grilled chicken breasts, some baby carrots with corn/green beans (some mix we picked up at Costco yesterday), and some sort of grain.

OK, first, let me say EEEEWWWWWWWW! Lena, babe... that's just weird.

Secondly, we're probably just having tuna helper and a salad. It's Kendra's favorite meal (weird kid), and it's quick and easy with it just being the 2 of us tonight.

We're doing General Tsao Orange chicken and egg rolls from Sams. We were supposed to take it to some friends' house for dinner, but with all my guys sick, we can't go, and I didn't have anything else prepared. Thus...fake chinese take-out

My menu plan (BWAHAHAHAHA!!!) says Teriyaki Chicken and Rice, but I ended up going out with friends for lunch and had that. So I'm thinking cheese ravioli with garlic bread and salad now. DH likes meat, but welll...tough.

We're having spaghetti and garlic bread. I wish I had some meatballs. I may have to make some this weekend with our 8590489342 pounds of beef. I love a good meal of spaghetti and meatballs.

We still haven't eaten. Jordan went out grocery shopping () but now had to run out again and do something. So we're waiting for him. I'm hungry!

We had Sweet and Sour Popcorn Chicken (Hey Col....Jordan might like this recipe!!! ) I severed it over brown rice!!

From Taste of Homes: Simple & Delicious Magazine

Ingredients:

* 1 medium green pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
* 1 small onion, thinly sliced
* 1 tablespoon canola oil
* 1 can (20 ounces) unsweetened pineapple chunks
* 3 tablespoons white vinegar
* 2 tablespoons soy sauce
* 2 tablespoons ketchup
* 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
* 2 tablespoons cornstarch
* 1 package (12 ounces) frozen popcorn chicken
Directions:
In a large skillet or wok, stir-fry green pepper and onion in oil for 3-4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain pineapple, reserving the juice in a 2-cup measuring cup; set pineapple aside. Add enough water to the juice to measure 1-1/3 cups; stir in the vinegar, soy sauce and ketchup.
In a large bowl, combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Stir in pineapple juice mixture until smooth. Gradually add to the skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add pineapple. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 4-5 minutes or until heated through.
Meanwhile, microwave chicken according to package directions. Stir into pineapple mixture. Serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.

I had Taco Soup on the menu but I didn't make it to the store so we ended up eating caned Raviolis w/pears and garlic Parmesan rolls. I hate canned Raviolis once in a blue moon do we have it. But again I didn't make it to the store. SO food choices were limited! But tomorrow I am gonna make it to the store and we are having Chicken & Stuffing.

Our day got thrown so off schedule. We were supposed to go out for a while in the early afternoon since we've been stuck in the house (except for hospitals and doctor's visits) since DD's birth on the 26th. But by the time we finally made it out the door it was 5pm, so we ended up going to Chipotle for dinner. Tomorrow night we'll have the pasta, hamburgers, veggies, and Clementines that we were going to have tonight.
