Adult boredom busters
I've been sick for almost a week now with a chest infection, on antibiotics now but will be off uni for another week. Unfortunately my energy levels are still pretty depleted while the meds start working so being upright for more than a few mins isn't an option which rules out for me doing any uni work or scrapping.
Does anyone have any ideas for interesting things to do cause after the last 6ish days of sleeping I'm over it. Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 5020X using Tapatalk

Awwww! I'm sorry you've been so sick!
If I had a day in bed and didn't have energy to sit up, I'd probably pick a show to binge-watch on Netflix, and I might mix it up with some reading in between. I don't lead a super exciting life though, so those things sound wonderful to me. LOL I'm sure it gets old after a week though! |

Yuck! So sorry you have been so sick!
I would read (something other than for uni) or binge watch something, too. I am not sure there would be much else you could do lying down. Hope those meds kick in soon!

I've only got my phone which is fine for FB, YouTube, emails and forums but not much else. Let's say I was expecting to be told by my Dr to be off til the 17th but they said til the 24th - I don't think I've ever not been at uni for so long, my last day was the 4th because I've only got uni on Mondays & Tuesdays

There's no questioning the doctor when they say on a doctors note how long I am to have off especially when they say any worse and I'll be in hospital

I always like books on tape when I really don't feel like moving that much. Sometimes when I don't feel well 'looking' at a screen or book is too much. I listened to a lot of books on tape when I had morning sickness! (I had a friend go to the library for me! )

Books on CD is a great idea, Kristi.
Maybe you can cut up old magazines and roll them with glue to make paper beads? Read. Do brain games on your cellphone like crossword puzzles or sudoku. Watch TV. Braid friendship bracelets. Write letters to people. Color in a coloring book. Call people and talk. Cross stitch. Write in a journal. |
