Default OT Super Mario Party Ideas Needed

Please can you help? I am searching high and low on the internet for any ideas relative to Super Mario....My Grandson will be turning 6 yrs old the end of April, so I'm trying to get a jump start on planning....I want this to be the Birthday that he will remember for a long time....I purchased Libby's fabulous "Pipe Dreams" kit and can't wait to use it to scrap this very special 6th Birthday....Heck, I may even scrap the pages early 'cause that's how excited I am....LOL What would be even better if I could create some hybrid party favors for my Grandson's Birthday but unfortunately I am a visual person--not creative enough to come up with my own ideas....LOL

One of the ideas I keep seeing is for these Mario & Luigi lollipops....Unfortunately the site does not have the templates and I was hoping maybe someone might have an easy idea as to how I can replicate these?

Have any of you planned a Super Mario party and would you have any ideas to share with me? Thank you for any help/ideas....

Ava had a Super Mario party last year, we just had a little family party, so I didn't do a ton of stuff. We did have a "Super Mario Photobooth". I found a blue sheet and cute out felt clouds, made my own Mario hat and got a Mario mustache on stick off of Etsy.

decor - I just used store bought plates and napkins, and lots of tissue paper to make decorations

close up of the cake I made -

We had a Mario Party for my son's birthday a couple years ago.
I made a fondant cake and some reversible Mario/Luigi hats, everyone wore stick-on fake mustaches I found on Amazon. We also had everyone wear either a red or a green shirt so they could wear the coordinating hat. We had a lunch time party- so we had Italian pasta with green peppers and grape tomatoes and some other themed things.
I made a mushroom shaped pinata and filled it with gold chocolate coins and brick candy pieces. But if you want to go with an easy pinata, you can make a square ? block one!!

Here's a couple pics from my son's party..

I have just posted this as a giftcard I have made for my Grandson with Libby's Kit.
Maybe you could do something like this for placecards or for invites?

WOW! Jenn I am so impressed with your cake and I love the idea for the "photobooth"....Also love your tissue paper decorations and balloons....I will definitely keep this in mind....I am not brave enough to attempt a cake with fondant and am planning to have my Mom make my Grandson's Birthday cake as long as we can find a Super Mario cake pan....Seems that they are now considered to be Vintage cake pans and they want an arm and a leg for them....

Rachael I am so impressed with your fondant cake also! Gosh I wish that I lived near enough 'cause I'd pay you to make one for me....LOL I also love your mushroom pinata and think I just might have to go with the square ? block pinata as this might be the easiest for me....Thank you for your help!

OMG! I am super impressed! Gosh you make working with fondant look so tempting....I just know that I could not ever make anything that remotely looked like this! Ever come to NY to visit family or friends and maybe you could make this cake for me and I'd pay you? LOL Thanks so much Nikki for sharing your spectacular cake with me!
