Default HELP!!! I need a costume

So my husband just informed me that I need a costume to trick-or-treat with the boys at his office Thursday. My first inclination was to go as an angry housewife whose husband doesn't tell her anything, but now I'm willing to try. I looked at Target and Walmart, but a hot witch or sexy she-devil won't work.

Anyone have any fun, easy to put together ideas?

Thanks!!!

Rubik's cube?

Use electrical tape for gird, paint the squares, and do cut outs to slip it on. Easy and fun.

One of the boys is going to the carnival as the bottom of a movie theater floor with a big popcorn bucket on his head. Just candy wrappers and straws, lids and assorted junk on his shirt.

Did you see Tracy's costume? She dressed up as Clark Kent with a white button down shirt and a superman shirt underneath. Glasses and hot red lipstick. I thought it was awesome!

Thanks Erin! Yeah, it was super easy because I found everything I needed at Walmart.

Superman shirt
white button up
black skirt
black rimmed glasses
tie

Last year I went as a peacock. I got a pretty headband with feathers on it and wore a blue shirt and did my make-up really colorful. This year I am just going to be a fox and wear a cute hat I got with a sweatshirt. I keep it simple.

I want to see Tracy's costume!!

My department at work is going with the Duck Dynasty theme. It's awesome for the women because their wives/daughters are pretty stylish. LOL!

My standby when I used to have to dress up was either a witch or a cat. I just wore all black clothing and then painted my face and wore the appropriate hat or ears. Not too creative, but it worked for me!

I have nothing. I scoured Walmart for an hour. That is the only place around here to get a costume. I need one to wear during the school parade. Guess I'll just go as myself.

Dana, that sounds cool! If you do it, share a pic!

My sister also suggested going as a Cardinal's fan...so now I'm torn. I guess it all depends if Walmart has the Superman Tshirt in stock.

I also did Lois Lane and my husband went as Clark Kent one year I just wore a black skirt, black jacket, white button shirt, some red glasses (poked the glass part out) and heacy makeup and red heels.....we also made "press" passes".....it was actually a very easy costume to put together!

another easy one is a zombie....I got all of this at the thrift store

Angie - cute! I might need to make a press pass if I go the Clark Kent route!
