Exclamation Adobe PDF Vulnerability

I wanted to pass this along. My Dad is a computer guy, and for him to pass this along saying it's serious, it must be.
His email:
I consider this serious - since it can't be detected by most common Anti-Virus programs.
I uninstalled the Adobe Reader, and installed Sumatra PDF - an open source program which can be found at www.pdfreaders.org

ETA: It's just javascripts within PDF files.

Gosh, I hate always being the dumb one around here when it comes to computer talk and stuff but I don't get it. Can someone explain all this is English terms to me. I read through the post Col linked to but I don't understand a word they are saying.

If you download a PDF from the internet, you can get hacked if it has javascripting enabled. So if you use Adobe Reader or Acrobat reader, you need to go into your preferences and disable the javascript abilities.

Right now it looks like only certain people or groups are being targeted, but you never know. Better to be safe than sorry.
