A Pinterest Question
So, I joined Pinterest and I love it, love the inspiration, love the pictures, love the ideas etc. and have pinned quite a few images. I don't think I ever even thought how the pictures got to be on pinterest to start with - probably thought (if I had thought) that whoever had taken the photograph had shared it on pinterest.
But tonight I just found a whole load of my cards on there, which is kind of weird. I know I've put them out there on the world wide web because I upload them to galleries and put them on my blog and once they are there anyone can get at them - but it is kind of weird that someone else has done something with them. So how do people get things onto Pinterest in the beginning?? |

somebody pins them from the web
Did you install the Pin It toolbar? its pretty awesome lets you grab an image from the web to pin to your boards. It's a pretty neat tool

Oohhhhh, no But I'll go and look for it now. So does that mean that you can pin any image that you find on the internet?

yup! I've pinned tons of my faves from the galleries here and elsewhere, my scrapping wishlist, etc.

Heh, I actually re-pinned one of your postcards without knowing it was yours! BTW I'm not too happy about the "you can grab any picture from the internet". I keep SSD apart from my RL (for the obvious exception of Zora) and in the unlikely case someone would pin a LO of mine, the link would lead them here and I *so* want to keep this my non-RL place.
