Our uniforms have not helped my budget this year! I paid $177 for one week's worth of clothes for my son because for his school they require you buy from a specific store. Seriously, five shorts + five polo shirts w/ school emblem = extremely expensive. And he'll have to have a jacket from there too, plus more cool weather clothes. I just couldn't spend any more when I got the shirts and shorts. We'll have to wait on the other stuff.

That's how I was last year when my middle kid was in pre-k at our church's school. I had to buy her uniform stuff from the school uniform shop..it was $$$. They do this swap thing though throughout the summer where upcoming kids in those sizes can purchase your stuff, etc..they do a uniform drive type thing. I sold all her stuff that was in good condition and made at least 1/2 my $$$ back. Thankfully though for our school district their uniform stuff can be bought at Target or their school store (which is a little more $$4..I paid like $30 each for their hoodies but no complaints when I got their polos for $5 lol) Thankfully (or not..we coudln't swing tuition this year since I'm no longer working) she started K at the local school so her uniforms were cheaper this year

they are super cute but my sons grow so dang fast so I buy them only plain t-shirts which I usually get a super good sale on at either Champs Sports or Foot Locker. I wait until they put their t-shirts on sale and usually get like 6 or 7 for aound 20 dollars

I just bought four shirts and two pairs of jeans last week for Wes... and let me tell you... I could EAT HIM UP in them!! They are twice as cute on!!!

Wes is 30lbs and 35" tall and the 2T stuff fits him perfect.

dudes. don't get me wrong i am ALL about the sale. loads of my kids clothes comes from goodwill- i'm like the queen of finding rad name brand clothing for pennies.

however, fashion does sometimes come at a price. just take one look at the guess shirt i bought for ds at macy's for ummm...oh, i don't know $37. EEGADS. that is the most i've EVER spent on a top and i don't regret it.

poo to uniforms. when maddie wore them i spent just as much money (if not more) and the only place she could wear them was school.

Those are beyond cute! I'm with the others on price though. We get most of the boys' clothes from Crazy8 these days. Cute and relatively inexpensive!

Well, Lizzy, if you can get my son to stop CHEWING on the collar of his shirt, I might consider your fashion recommendations. Really, boys are gross.

that is sooo funny my son used to do that too and a friend of mine's brother did it too. They both eventually stopped on their own though. I think my son stopped when he was maybe 7 or 8...around the third grade.

LMAO!!! seriously. boys are ick. lukas used to chew on his sleeves. i nearly had a heart attack when he stretched out one of his shirts and it wasn't an expensive shirt either. i can't handle that creepy stuff.

doesn't 77kids have like two shirts for $20? that's the same price as target.
