I do postcard style. It's less expensive and doesn't make me feel like I should be adding a personal message to each card.

Ohhhh this has inspired an idea for me. I was struggling doing my daughters card for her because I was trying to fit all three in one photo and it is not working. I might try something more along this line. My daughter loves what I came up with but I used the photo of the baby only in it and she wants the whole family on the card.

I fell in love with the snowglobe as my daughter has been in love with them this year. So I got the template and made one with one of the photos I took. I'm doing 7x5 postcard style. Just trying to figure out the best place to print... Its basically coming down to Persnickety's.

These cards are so great! You all are making me wish I was doing cards! We don't really have many people to send them to so we aren't doing any. If we have a baby in the future, I am definitely doing cards no matter how few people there are!

I just went with the snowglobe since I only decided last night that I would actually send some out. Also, in the interest of time, (please don't shun me!!!) I printed them at Wal-mart. I know they're not as good of quality, but none of my friends are going to notice the difference unless they're comparing my cards side-by-side, and it was fast and cheap. Mine are 4x6, and I bought plain 4x6 envelopes that I'm going to dress up with a little washi tape.

I printed 10, and I highly doubt I'll send out even that many. I live with my parents, so I can just hand them one, and I'll send one to my grandmother and one to her sister/brother-in-law, but with my grandfather recently passing, I don't have one to send down there, so I'll be lucky if I send out 2 or 3 cards this year...

I think this is the final draft of ours. It will be a 5x7 flat.

Love all the cards! Next year I'll be going with two-sided cards again so I can include my newsletter on it.
This year I went for our card on one side

And Harper's Birth Announcement on the other.

(I hope this works, because Photobuckert changed layouts and can't see any pictures)

I still don't have ours done yet. I am trying to wait on pictures but I'm thinking I might go sans picture this year.

We are taking our photos this weekend, so mine will be late! I'll share as soon as I get them made.

Here's mine. The photo is a temporary placeholder. We're not decorating until Saturday so I'll swap it out with a photo from this year after that. Since I've decided to send "green" Christmas cards this year (emailing instead of mailing), I don't have to worry about printing them.

Here's mine! I like to go the cheap route and print it on a 4x6 photo. Walgreens had 50 for $5!

Here is mine... It wasn't until I went to make them that I realized I hadn't taken even one group shot of our kids this year... ::bad mom:: Anyway, I made them 4x6 and went the super-fast, super-cheap way out... One-Hour Photo @ CVS. And aside from being a little on the thin side, the photo quality surprised me! (especially for $0.10 ea)

Oh, let me add the downside to my "cheap" route - it's hard to find 4x6 envelopes and I didn't want to order them and have to wait. I ended up at Michael's paying twice for the envelopes than what I did for the cards! Live & learn... lol

Beautiful! I ended up cutting about 1/2 inch off of mine to fit in the A2 size envies I had!

I love everyone's cards. I went super simple this year-just wasn't in the mood to do an extravagant card even though I had a kit picked out and bought. I still like them though.

I had found a box of envelopes that were just over 4x6-- I think it was like 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 or something? I don't remember what they were called (they had a specific name), but I found them at Walmart at the same price as all of the other boxes of envelopes (I think I paid like $3.50something)... they had them in white, cream, or multicolored.

Found the box... they were called Social Envelopes, 4 3/4" by 6 1/2", and they were closer to $4.30 for 50 of them.

Here is my card. I had it printed 5x7 with rounded corners on pearl card stock, which is really pretty and shimmery.
