A different kind of NSD thread! :P
Ok so you know how they say iNSD is a day for scrappers to shop and scrap and a day for designers (and CT) to clean their houses?! Well I'm on page #26 this week (2 double pagers in that count too!) and I had to stop and laugh at the insanity that my house is right now!
Thank heaven's the week is nearing an end otherwise my family would soon be running around naked! This is my pile of laundry trailing down the hall:  and it's coming dangerously close to this clean pile that I still haven't gotten to fold! (ignore the imcomplete gallery wall.. it's a work in progress  ) Notice the tufts of cat hair on the carpet? That's cuz I also haven't vacuumed in a week! Lol! Btw, why is it that we refer to "cat hair" on the carpet and furniture but we do not call it cat hair when we are petting them or commenting on their "nice shiny hair". Then it's fur? Hmmm... the ramblings of an overtired, over-worked, jittery off of RockStar energy drink, woman on the verge of insanity.  If I had taken photos earlier this morning, my counters would be reminiscent of these photos but dishes in lieu of clothing! But we can't eat off this floor (especially considering it's so dirty!) so I kinda HAD to clean those up! SOOOO.... now that I've shared my shame, and we all know misery loves company, how's about you make me laugh and prove to me I'm not the only slob around here? Ok, break time's over! Back to scrapping!

Hah! Your house looks CLEAN compared to mine!
 I also haven't showered in 2 days.  Or properly schooled my kids... we've done bits of homeschooling this week, but all in all I failed.  Designing gobs of NSD products + doing laundry and packing for a Disney trip this weekend is definitely a combination I don't want to repeat!!!But this is still my favorite scrappy holiday, the products are the best! So many pretty colorful kits and fun templates. I can't wait to scrap... although it won't be until after we get back.

I have done about 30 pages for NSD. I am exhausted but still have a lot of wash to do lol.

Seems like laundry is the common theme around here! I pretty much avoid it at all costs even on a regular week! It's my least favorite household chore! Not that I have a favorite chore so maybe I should say it's my "most hated" chore. Lol...

I haven't done as many pages as you did, Cassie, but I have laundry hanging in the balcony for several days already, waiting for me to pick up and fold haha...

Mt. Laundry is calling me too lol And we have eaten out 3 days in a row now for supper
 I have captured 15 pages of memories though lolI don't know how I used to do it when I used to have double the CT's

Apparently this is the week my ADD brain decided I needed to clean in addition to designing so I took way too much time cleaning out my pantry.. my fridge and doing extra laundry. I basically do all the things i'm not supposed to do.

haha... laundry is the only thing getting done in my house - because I have someone short doing it.
All hands on deck... hubby has been making dinners, kiddo is cleaning his room - I did take a few hours break to get some homeschooling done. Otherwise i'm growing roots in my chair and I think I've gained 5 lbs from not moving...

heehee, only 19 pages for me and my house looks pretty good. I didn't scrap as fanatic as I usually do the week before iSND which was pretty much to keep my sanity ! LOL Oh, and btw..........your house is clean !!!! I don't think my house ever looked that clean !! LOL

From a non CT member (except for 1 designer elsewhere) I actually took the day off today so I could check out all the deals/scrap. I got up early cleaned and started on my laundry. Even without CT my laundry was spilling out into the kitchen.
For you guys that don't sweep - my answer is get a Roomba. I love mine and it sweeps every day so no dirt/dust or little specks around the house. Just make sure you don't have dark rugs or carpet (I have an area rug with black lines between color blocks) since they don't like dark areas.

I recall those days!! To be honest, now I'm completely stressed out this time of year for a different reason. LOL It just shifted from design stuff to end of the school year work stuff.

My son's birthday/party & iNSD are usually the same weekend so while the laundry got done, the dirty dishes didn't. My kids haven't eaten a vegetable since Thursday, either!
