Totally Messed Up

I just used a kit to redesign my blog and just thought to check the terms of use.

Well, it does not allow for web design on personal blogs without permission. Does anyone know if this is a new change to TOUs? It used to be allowable on personal blogs only.

I'm glad I thought to check, I just wish I had checked before I spent all this work on it and fell in love with the new design.

Going to look for some commercial use stuff...

There was a TOU update for 2012 but if you email the individual designers I think most allow for personal (I know I do)

Yeah, I was gonna post pretty much the same thing as Meg. I'd try contacting the designer before totally trashing all the work you've already done. It's worth a shot. Good luck!

Ive asked designers in the past and they were ok with it at least the ones I asked were. I just ended up using Zoe's blog in the box for mine though.

Thanks...I'll put my own design back up and contact the designer. It is just my personal blog and believe me, I'm not making a profit from it .

I really loved the new look!!!
