Ack, I need help

looking up some old tour dates for bands. I want to do a concert layout. I've got a bunch of tickets with dates, and of course most don't have the opening band listed on the ticket. I have a ton of shirts, but of course not all of them list the date. I have a couple bands I KNOW I've seen, some twice, but since they're not listed on the ticket I don't know who I saw them with. And I have a few concerts I can't remember at all who they were touring with. Anyone have any ideas on how to look those up? I'm trying band websites, most just list current tours. I'm trying every reference I can find.
Hmmm, maybe I'll try looking up the venues? Maybe somewhere there I can find past tours? I don't know, I'm so lost!! Any ideas appreciated!!

Wow,that's tough. I'd start w/ the venues...maybe they have archives of some sort? I'll keep thinking...
