I have a couple more that I could get printed, I just need to make covers for them. It's always been my biggest goal with scrapping though, to get my layouts printed.

That's awesome! I love having our albums printed (still waiting for 2015) but don't have quite that many books.

July will by my 10 year anniversary of digital scrapbooking, the early years, the books don't have as many pages in each book. That's why there is more of them. Now, I try to stick to 2 to 3 a year.

When I print 2014, I think I'll have January thru September and then October thru December. Or maybe September thru December.

I used shutterfly until 2009. I switch to prestophoto.com in 2009 & I love them!

They're much more affordable than shutterfly & I like their quality more too.

That's one of my goals for this year To have my books printed and my loose photos all organized in books. I have my 2015 album ready and waiting through Prestophoto to order.

Those are so wonderful!! Thanks for sharing and inspiring... Quick question about printing, do you print a single copy of each book, or do you get a few prints ie. a copy for each of your kids, or for grandparents?

I just print one copy, but I do save the jpegs, so if i ever wanted to make more copies I could. I put them on Facebook too for my out of town family to be able to see.

I call 2009 "The Lost Year"...I have all the pages marked out and photos selected, but didn't think to start recording the stories until 2010...

For the most part, I've just moved on. Someday I might go back to 2009...we'll see....

That is AWESOME, Vanessa! Two questions:

1. What size(s) do you print your books?

2. Do you have any suggestions for those of us who don't scrap chronologically? I've thought about just creating a book of random pages in no particular order, but that kind of makes me twitchy.

After I print a book, I delete the psd files. But, not until.

1. Well, I started 12x12, then 8x8, both when I used shutterfly. Since 2009 I've been doing 8.5x8.5 and I love that size. Presto Photo is who I print through now.

2. That would make me twitchy too. LOL! I don't always scrap chronologically. I jump around a lot, I just don't print until I have a good chronological span. A few years back I did every quarter, then I'd print when I had that period scrapped.

Maybe just do a Book based on the year. I'd probably do loose pages though. Because, that would drive me batty. LOL! Or, do like 5 years of birthdays, christmas, summer, spring, etc.

Thanks for your reply! Do you mind if I ask which style 8.5x8.5 you go with through Presto Photo?

This is what I order, although, I was getting Matte covers, instead of glossy, but I forgot the last time I ordered.

Binding Options : 8.5"x8.5" Imagewrap Hardcover Photo Book, Lustre Photo Paper

Awesome! It's amazing how 3 dimensional your covers look! It's a legacy for your children to be sure.
I don't have nearly that many books, 11, but it's 11 more than I had a few years ago!
