Congrats everyone! Your weight losses no matter how big or small are awesome! If there is one thing I have learned over the years, every little bit counts! I've been thinking about doing WW online. Maybe I'll just have to bite the bullet and do it. Having other people who are doing the same thing is totally helpful in my opinion!

I'm in! I just signed up for WW online with my sis. Brian leaves at the end of the month and I want to lose 30 lbs before he gets home from his deployment.

Yay, Nikki!

I don't weigh in until Tuesday. It will be an 8 day weigh in this time due to scheduling issues, and I'm hoping the extra day helps me this time...I have no idea what I will have lost but I'm certain it won't be 9 lbs! (my home scale says maybe 5 ish but I guess we'll see! )

WTG you guys!!

I think "five-ish" pounds are great Lena. Believe me, I am not expecting the 9 lbs to happen again. If I can lose slow and steady, I will be a happy chick. I didn't put this weight on all at once and I am sure it won't come off all at once either. But wouldn't it be sweet if you could lose weight just because you wished for it? lol

I'm not doing too well so far. Mom and I are hoping to start Made to Crave soon, which should help (we started it a few months ago, I instantly dropped 8 lbs in the first week, and then our schedule got busy and the holidays hit, and we stopped doing the Bible study and I gained it all back). Hopefully if we re-start the Bible study and get it going, the pounds will come off, too. We jumpstarted things with new haircuts, and the confidence will hopefully motor us through.

Congrats on the weight loss...Any loss is an accomplishment even if it's .5lb...

My weigh in is Tuesday...I haven't exercised one day this week...I didn't want to overwhelm myself but hopefully it goes well...

I don't weight until Tuesday night either Lena. I did weigh in on Friday at home for a weight loss competition on another site and I was 4 pounds down. Honestly, at this point, even .1 pound is a victory because I have been carry this weight for too long and I am ready to get rid of it, even if it is bit by bit.

I weighed in today and lost 7.6 lbs. After much thought and consideration I've decided to do Friday meetings and Monday weigh ins. So I popped over to the center and was pleasantly surprised with my results!

I weighed in today and lost 1.6 lbs. I'm really pleased with this because I'm getting pretty close to my goal and as long as I am losing, its progress. I weigh the same now as I did on my first anniversary, and my goal is to fit back into my wedding dress by my anniversary...unless I manage to get pregnant and stay pregnant. Infertility has taken a toll on my weightloss in the past.

I have a question about the WW weekly points. Right now I can have 28 pts a day and then I have 47 weekly points. Do I have to use them all? Those confuse me. Can I just save them up and have a big old treat one day?

I'm doing good so far..this is the first time I've ever done weight watchers and it's different. I mean I feel kind of like I'm eating a lot lol.

nikki - you should eat your 28 points/day for sure ... the 47 weekly points do not have to been eaten - but if you need them, they can be divided however you want during the week (e.g., you could have all 47 in one day if you want).

I find it to be a lot of points too Nikki! I started 2 weeks ago, and my daily limit was 34 points, and a weekly point overage of 49!! The first week I am ashamed to say that not only did I use up all my daily points (daily, lol), I used up all 49 extra weekly points, 9 activity points I added AND was -10 in the red. I was quite disturbed! BUT 2 weeks in and I'm seeing -4 on the scale, so I am excited!!!

Nikki I usually save the 47/49 weekly points for one big thing. For example, last week, on Saturday night after dinner for some reason both DW and I had a lot of points left AND the weekly points...so we treated ourselves to starbucks...and a treat. We still saw loss the next morning.

I like that idea Aaron! DH is taking me out on a date on Saturday, so I'm trying to be extra good & save up a few points so he can treat me (when we used to date, he'd take me to Starbucks, and we'd chat for hours, then out for supper)! Hoping to do the same on Saturday!

Congratulations Nikki, that is super!!

I weighed in this morning too and I lost 2.2 lbs this week. While I kinda hoped for more, I am happy with it. My goal for next week is 2 more pounds and to reduce my salt intake. I am very puffy right now because I am a salt fiend! Does anyone use Mrs. Dash to season their foods, or something else besides salt?

I just weighed in and lost 3 this week. I am hoping that next week I can lose 2 more so I can make my first 5%.

Congrats on the weight loss everyone!!

I haven't been weighed since 20th December but went to Slimming World (not sure if that's available in the US etc) yesterday and got weighed, if I had gained weight over Christmas I lost it as I was 0.5lb lighter lol.

I started the slimming world plan today and my first weigh in will be next Saturday and I'm pretty nervous already!

Hi there everyone! I am coming into this thread a little late but I joined up with the old WW again about 10 days ago, mostly for the online but I will be going in to get weighed. I am so busy I can't seem to make the meetings yet but I might try getting to one every now and then. My weigh in days are Tuesdays and last week at my first weigh in I was down 6.4lbs which was great. I think this week has been going ok so far so we will see how Tuesday looks! This is a great motivating thread so hopefully we can all get support and motivation from each other!

I am going to be joining WW this week. I am so inspired that all of you are already seeing results. Ideally I would like to be able to attend meetings but so far I cannot find one that works with my schedule. For me, the biggest benefits of the meetings are accountability and to get inspired. I am scared that if I do online I won't stay motivated but it may be my only option.

With my schedule and where I live, getting to a meeting would be impossible, so doing it online is my only real option. Going to the WW site 3 times a day to track my meals is kinda a pain but it keeps me motivated. I like seeing what I've consumed and what I have left and whether or not I am on a healthy track. Coming here and reading about how well everyone is doing also motivates me, and hopefully it will do the same for you.

I had a crappy food week (was sick..still...for some of it so that didn't help) but getting back into tracking points again (maintaining)

I just realized though I only get 26 points now..guess the minimum went down for 2012? I used to get 29 b/c that was the minimum at one point. I will say I still like the Points program better than Points Plus..but slowly learning to like the changes

Meghan, what is the basic difference between Points and Points Plus? I liked the Points program a lot.

Yep, the minimum went down, but my leader says that if you were losing at 29, you can bump yourself back up to it. That's the nice about Points Plus is the flexibility.

Don't be discouraged Nikki, 1.3 lbs is great! The goal is to lose weight and you did that, so congratulate yourself. And if it helps keep in mind that weight loss is not just a destination, but a journey, and every step, small or big, counts.

Way to go Aaron! You hit your first goal, didn't you? I hope to get mine next week.

Keep up the good work everyone!

3.1 down this week for a total of 9.2 lbs...I can really tell a difference this week just in how my clothes are fitting better again. And I even splurged a couple of times this week so I was surprised to see that I'd lost so much
