Default Speaking of apps...fitness favorites?

Spinning slightly off Mandy's iphone app thread...does anyone have some favorite apps for fitness? Anything related to exercise, weight loss, eating healthy, etc.? I'd like to find a comprehensive app for tracking progress (starting the post-partum journey ) and staying motivated.

I'm also envisioning some type of app that will prompt me with exercises to do at home each day, kind of as a "bonus" to my daily workouts. (For example...do 100 squats and 100 push-ups today, then it changes the next). I'm more motivated by "challenges" like that than setting up a routine for myself (other than the videos I enjoy). Any suggestions?

Please let me know what you love/hate and what works for you!

Many many thanks in advance!
T.

I have a pedometer that I love. You can set daily goals and I always love seeing just how much more active I can be when I use it.

I think I've seen apps like the 200 push up and 200 sit-up apps. I think they have one for squats too.

I have iFitness, but must admit that I don't use it much as once I get to the gym I don't have time to look at it!

I do want one such as sit ups or squats so I can do that at home!

I use RunKeeper for my runs

I also use LoseIt for counting my calories. It makes me very accountable, when I actually use it LOL!

Lose It is really awesome for calorie counting. I started using it again last week, and it's so helpful to see my overall calorie goal for the day, and where I'm at for the whole week. I like that it takes into account exercise too, even if the calories burned on that aren't super exact. Better than nothing, and it makes me feel good to see that number subtracted.

I love LoseIt as well, and use it daily. I like Ifitness too, but I don't use it as often. It has a portion to help you track your measurements and even take a picture at the time to you take the measurements and stores them together. I also have the hundrend squat/sit up/pushup apps. I haven't used them but now that boot camp is over I need to get on that!

Thanks so much, ladies! I found Lose It and started tracking today...according to their calculations, I could be at my goal weight by Christmas. LOL I'm giving it my best shot, but that seems like a lofty goal!

I have Lose It and I downloaded Jillian's app too. It has short videos for working out. Haven't used it much but hopefully will start soon!
