Sketchbook!!!

Ha and you thought I was going to say something else...you naughty thang!

I haven't done this a lot...show people inside my sketchbook. Mainly because there is a lot of stuff in there that is just plain crap but...

I have decided to ditch the perfection thing and share my stuff. I figure this will be good for a couple of reasons...

1. its fun having a peek behind the scenes...yes the voyeur is in all of us!

2. and it may encourage you create something, share your projects, or maybe take up the pencil for the first time.

So each week I'm going to share something from my sketchbook...either a doodle I'm doing, something to do with designing a kit, a craft project so if you want to pop over and check them out...and maybe share some of your projects...that would be super dooper.

Fee, I commented over on your blog, but I wanted to add this here...

I gave up on designing because I felt I was terrible at it. I did all of my sketches in permanent marker, and none of them worked very well at all.

This has inspired me to give drawing another go, this time in pencil. And, if I eventually get around to designing at all with it, I will. If not, at least I'm not letting my artistic dreams die just because of a few failed attempts with a sharpie.

Jenni...this seriously gave me goose bumps! I'm a happy girl I'm glad that you are going to give it another go. Giving up the pen helped me big time so hopefully it will do wonders for you too. And if you get back to designing...wahoo! Thanks so much for sharing...
