Default Breaking Dawn part 2

Who's going to see it?

It was GOOD! Definitely different from the book but worth seeing. I went to a Twilight marathon yesterday and saw all 5 movies...It was a great day but I'm definitely whooped today!

It's not out until Friday here, and I have a 7th Birthday that same day so I'd rather have cake LOL.

I lost interest before Breaking Dawn part 1 and haven't even watched that one yet, which is sad because I'm a serial re reader of the books and have watched the other films loads!!

It has been a standing mother/daughter date since I saw Twilight on DVD and read the books (yes I read them after seeing the movie cause I HAD to know what happened). But we will likely be going on Monday or Tuesday maybe.

A couple of friends and I are going Friday night! We have a standing Twilight date. LOL Can't wait to see how they wrap things up! (Although I'm kind of a purist when it comes to books made into movies so I'm a little nervous since I heard they took some creative liberties . . .)

It's coming out at 10:00 pm tomorrow here but I'll be waiting until Sunday afternoon. Taking my girls and 2 of their friends to lunch and a matinee. Should be fun. I'm a bit disappointed/concerned that they didn't stick close to the book this time...the changes are going to have to be REALLY good too win me over. :/

Eh, I didn't even go to the last one in the theater. I only just watched it finally in August. Not sure if I will see this one in the theater or not.

I wanted to go to see Breaking Dawn 1 and 2 back to back tomorrow night, but I don't think it's going to happen. I'll probably drag DH to see it over Thanksgiving week when we have my parents there to babysit.

They definitely took some creative liberties but I think it's the only way they could have really made two movies out of one book.

How upsetting are the creative liberties going to be to someone who likes for the movie to follow the book?

Yeah, that is a really good question, because I do prefer for movies to stick to the book as closely as possible, but I honestly enjoyed the movie. I honestly can't say much more than that without some major spoilers.

I never got past the first movie because the acting was just so so bad. Kristen Stewart was horrible, IMO. Did the acting get better in the other movies? I read all the books a couple of years ago.

I thought the acting and producing got better after the first movie (it should have since their budget increased immensely!). I still don't care for Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson's styles but they kind of grew into their roles as things progressed. The first movie was pretty hokey but they have definitely improved since then.

I passed by the movie theater this morning at 7:30 and there were already people in line!! As much as I would love to see it tonight, I can't bring myself to fight those crowds.

I am going tomorrow! I almost want to go to the 11:00 showing tonight after reading several good reviews about it.

This is why I don't have the first movie on DVD. I kind of wish they'd make an updated/improved version of it...lol!

I read the books (more times than I care to admit) before seeing the first movie, but if I'd seen that movie first I'd have been done with Twilight right then. All of the other movies were better, IMO. I'm with Tronesia about wishing they'd redo the first one!

I'll be going to see it in a few weeks. Last year I waited a month to see Part 1. I've gone to every one by myself so this time won't be any different unless the one friend I know here who likes them wants to see it with me this time.

Yes, they were really good changes. It was so hard not to put spoilers up here but I just didn't want to ruin it for everyone.

I just saw it today (today was my "all about me" day and I went to a movie, got a massage and did a little shopping, while enjoying a pumpkin spice latte, lol). It's what I expected. The acting has gotten progressively better, but it's still not fabulous ... but I have low expectations, lol. I read the book so long ago and I can't even recall the proper ending. My disclaimer is that I'm old.

I DID NOT like the changes at the ending. I was not expecting what happened and it freaked me out. But I did love who they chose to play Garrett and Alistair (sp?). Even more then James (Cam Gigandet) if that is possible LOL. And staying for the credits you get to see James again Even better.
