when DH and I were first together his beard would come in very thin - not so hot - so he was clean shaven, and i preferred that. but as we've gotten older, he now has a a nice full goatee. it's really soft, and he trims it neat and short. i thought i'd hate it, but i really like it now, and as he's really fair in coloring, the goatee brings more color to his face. i can't imagine him without it now.

well, K, you have met my husband, so you know mine sports a goatee. I HATE when he shaves it off! His face looks a lot rounder without the goatee. He has little to no hair on the top of his head, so the goatee works. He scares the kids when he shaves it off. lol

My DH has a mustache and a goatee, which are fine. He actually looks better with both. With just the mustache... I dunno. But he needs to trim it himself. He always wants me to do it and then I get sidetracked, so right now he looks like a freakin' mountain man (no offense to anyone who likes mountain men... it is just that he works in banking and shouldn't be so "rustic" looking).

I voted 5 o'clock shadow. The hubs shaves once a week and then just lets it go for the rest of the week.

I prefer the Russell Crow "Gladiator" look on my man. Super short shaved head with the scruffy 5 'o clock shadowy beard super HOT!

This.... minus the band part. I love a short goatee on my DH but because of his work, he can only do it when he's on vacation.
