December Plans?

So, I need ideas, this year Keira is really excited about the holidays and I wan to have some more activites for us to do as a family.

Gingerbread House
Ornament making
cookie baking
movie watching

I've got all that stuff covered, but I need more. Help!

We just made our list tonight! We are going to put all of the items on seperate papers and draw one out each day to do together! Here are a few more ideas:

Hot cocoa night.....(you can even make it from scratch)
family game night
popcorn or macaroni stringing (for tree garland)
paper scrapping Xmas wish list (could go in your DD if you are doing one)
coloring (my kidos love it when I color in a coloring book with them)

That's all I've got that you didn't have already....HTH

Only other one I can think of right now is - drive to look at Christmas lights.

...game night? (there's a cute kit in Penny Candy I just bought that's perfect!)
...come to Ft. Smith this weekend to watch Robotics competition? hee hee
...deliver baked Christmas goodies to some elderly neighbors/friends
...have dd draw a picture and include in a Christmas card

I haven't got a list, but this is what we have planned (we are going away for Christmas so we are not decorating a lot)

- Make gingerbread house
- Make homemade marzipan
- Pre-Christmas christmas dinner with my parents
- Tonight we are going to see a christmas play at the theatre
- Make some decorations (not sure what yet, something homemade)
- Paint on canvas for my parent's christmas gifts
- Hang the lights (should really have done this already..)
- Bake some cookies and take to my grandma

Aside from what you listed, we are also::

Looking at lights
Visiting Santa
Going to a carol-sing (Christmas concert at church)
Check the library for Christmas crafts, storytimes, books, and movies
Having a Happy Birthday Jesus party (complete with cake and 'gifts'...after we make the cake, we are taking food up to the food pantry at church, toys to the toy drive, old coats to the collection box for the homeless---so the 'gifts' at the party will be given, not gotten)

*There's probably more I could add, but I'm not really awake yet. LOL
