Default Alright, how should I do this (Christmas goodie stuff)

So... I decided to give out little ice cream baskets this year instead of baking. (I live in AZ - so it's not super cold, so I figured ice cream was fine) I'm including 2 different quarts of homemade ice cream, some crushed up cookies and sprinkles, maybe some hot fudge topping, and homemade waffle cone bowls. I bought these containers for the ice cream:

I got the template from them so I could make my own pretty labels with my scrapping goodies... and it turns out that it will only fit on an 8.5x14 piece of paper. I was going to print on card stock because regular paper is way too flimsy. I could only find that size card stock online and it was way more than I can pay, so I just bought a pack of letter sized card stock. So, my question is, would you just divide it onto 2 sheets and have another seam in the back... or should I ditch the idea of having pretty paper cover the whole thing and just make small labels?

I would do a decorative label on the side & on top, with a 'belt' of pretty paper around the container.

Yeah, but the paper that covers all around the side has to be 14" wide... that is my dilemma! Should I just deal with it having 2 seams?

I would get solid 12x12 cardstock and cut it into strips (like 2" or 3" or something, not the entire height of the container). Then attach each end to a nice size decorative label. That way it looks seamless, and no one is the wiser.

Could you use wrapping paper for the wrapper? It would be wide enough. I don't know if they make it heavy enough, though. What about kraft paper?

I would do this..the kraft wrapping paper roll is pretty thick with a pretty label You could tie up the extras with a kraft raffia ribbon or something to match

This was my thought, too! Or I think Martha Stewart has 14 width paper at Michaels... at least I thought I saw it there... and then you could just do a label all scrappy...

Kraft wrapping paper is awesome. With red and or green ribbons and stuff, it's my absolute favorite way to wrap Christmas presents. That's a great idea ladies!

All I have is Walmart. Okay, I'll think about the kraft paper.

Id just make the label like two inches high and as long at the paper you have. It doesnt have to go all the way around. Lots of stuff you buy in the store has labels which only cover part of the bottle. It will still look pretty. Short of that Id make a cute oval-y label for the bottle and one for the lid.
