Default History of DigiScrapping

Have any of you ever thought about the history behind what we do? Who was the "founder" of digiscrapping? What was the first digiscrap site? Who came up with the idea or the name? How long has it been around? I'm just curious since it's such a big part of our daily life!

I've done a little research, and while I haven't found many of my answers, I did find a little bit that was interesting. Digiscrapping is listed on Wikepedia both by itself and under scrapbooking. Also, this article from the Washington Post is dated 2005 and talks about digiscrapping! http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...121501674.html

Anyone want to do some investigating and share what you come up with? I'm curious to find out more!
