Val (and everyone else)
Val, just wanted to see how you are doing and how things are going? You have been on my mind recently and in all of my thoughts and prayers! Hope you are doing well!
 How is everyone else doing? How are things? Anything new and exciting going on? Fall is finally upon us here in GA and I am loving every minute of it! My mom and I and a couple of cousins went to a local annual Apple Festival and to the Apple house last weekend so I am in apple overload right now! Hope everyone is doing well!

It's cooling down a bit here. It's still in the 80's but it's better than the 100's. Haha!

Same here Carrie...getting a brake from those 100's
Apple farms are so fun! I've made 2 apple pies and an apple crumb cake...so gooood!! All in all everything good. thanks for asking!

It's definitely cooler here in Beijing too... but the leaves aren't golden yet. My son has already asked when will Autumn and Winter be over already? He wants Summer to come back

Yesterday was in the low 40's it was so cold! But today was mid-70's!
 I don't think Colorado can make up it's mind if it's supposed to be fall or winter!We've been plucking away with homeschool. I'm so ready for a break, but that's not coming for a while! We've also made a 30x40ft area in our backyard, that was dirt when we bought the house, in to a mulched play area for our three-year old. It took us all weekend, and our back yard looks amazing now!! This week I've been fighting the HOA about changing over our front yard to a rock garden. Hopefully we get the approval tomorrow so we can start digging up the front yard. I want to get that done before it actually does snow! Other than that, it's chilling and making memories with the family.

Summer's coming here!! Its getting up around 30 degrees C now, which is actually a little warm for this time of year. But I'm not complaining too much - I had about one cold/flu bug per month over the winter so I'm over it!

It's spring here too, though our temperatures are a lot lower than yours Kim. We're sitting in the 18-22 C range at the moment, with lots of rain inbetween some lovely sunny days.

Jen you're so sweet! I'm doing really well actually. Did I report that I quit the bakery job. It was HELLISH and I just couldn't do it anymore. I have a line on a front desk position at a fabulous spa here in town and I should hear something today. <fingers crossed!!!!>
We had frost this morning!  I know everyone loves fall, but I'm like Sherly's little guy... I miss summer. Fall is just not my season. I feel like I'm in mourning, lol!

Every time I say fall is here my son says he can't wait for snow...to snowboard. I keep telling him to STOP talking about snow! Our leaves have started to turn and I can't wait for some color here!
