Default Question about pocket scrapping

I want to do some pocket scrapping and I'm looking at templates. I like the style of the templates that Traci Reed does. I found these kits:

Which say stitching is in black and white

Then i found this mega kit:

I like the idea of getting a big kit so i have some variety but there aren't any big previews of the "plastic stitched" grids and i have no idea what plastic stitching is lol

Does anyone have a picture of what this is or can help me with a description?

Thanks

I use Traci's plastic stitched grids for most of my pocket pages - they're kind of like the physical plastic pockets you can buy that have 'divisions' between the pockets. The divisions looks a bit like stitching. Here are some of my pages - the divisions are fairly subtle (depending on what shadow you give them).

For these LOs I think I actually used Erica's EZ Albums (Vol 6, Vol 7 and Vol 11), and I probably modified the pocket spaces to suit as I always have loads of photos to fit in, but I made my own 'stitched grids' to suit by cutting and pasting 'lines' from Traci's grids, but I do use Traci's stitched grids as is sometimes as well - I just can't find any LOs in my gallery!

This one's more like it...

So these look like unmodified ones (I think!):

Oh they're beautiful!!! now i can't decide which one i like better lol

I like the "neatness" of the plastic pages but the other ones are definitely more noticeable....

I had a plan to do my yearly album of half big layouts and half pocket pages so i could use more of my photos but still get the impact of the big pages

When i was little my dad had these cool albums where one page was a big page and a big photo was stuck on that page and then the page opposite had 6 or 8 (i can't remember the exact number) smaller photos then you turn the page and on that page the left hand side had the smaller photos and the right hand side had a big photo and so on - i just need to get a pocket style that i like

i might keep looking through the galleries for inspiration...

i know one thing for sure i need the stitching lol, i definitely prefer pages with stitching than the ones that are just pockets with no stitches

Yes, definitely a little quiet around here at the moment! What part of Australia are you in?

How cool! My Dad often bumps into strangers in his travels who are also school bus drivers - very weird!

It's not plastic stitching, it's plastic pockets. Like page protectors only divided. Her's come with optional stitching that you can use, not all of them by others do.

the plastic refers to a digital product like what is being held here.

This album should be public, so hopefully the link will work for you. I did a very quick photo and minimal journaling only album for 2013 one weekend. I didn't use the actual pocket layers of the templates I used, just the perforated dot type layer.

some pages from it in case it doesn't work

thanks for sharing - in the end i decided to go with the more messy stitching - i was really struggling to decide so asked around my family and the messy one won lol

I did find a big collab of Traci Reed's messy stitching kits though so that was handy
