Default Share the good - favourite photo/moment?

With all the depressing virus news out there, it's easy to focus on what we're missing, or what we can't do right now, so I thought to change things around and start a post where we can share good things.

Share your favourite photo you've taken in the last few weeks, and/or tell us about an uplifting moment. It might be an observation, an insight, something funny your kid said/did, or just something that made you happy.

My 16 yr old wanted to dye her hair for the first time while we're on lock-down, so I picked up a chestnut kit from the supermarket. I helped her dye it and curl it once it was dry. Seeing how happy she was with the result made MY heart happy, and I'm glad I said yes to doing something fun.

That's awesome Jacinda!

Here's photos from yesterday. I was so excited to see signs of spring yesterday, and it made my heart happy!

Our puppy (who is 4 months old today!) is officially potty trained! She rings the bell to go outside to potty (and now to just go outside &play so she can get a treat!) She hasn't had an accident in the house in 5 days & has slept through the night the last 2 nights! Now if she wouldn't chew our house down...

I love daffodils Cindi. There's just something about them that brings joy.

Amie, that's so clever to teach your puppy to ring the bell!

These two take every chance they get to play Minecraft together, and they NEVER fight while they're playing.

My little baby bump at 14 weeks. I’m happy that I’m over my morning sickness and am feeling so much better. My digestion is still on the sensitive side, but it’s bearable.

Ps. Please nudge me if the pic is too big. I’m posting this from my phone, so I wouldn’t have a clue how it looks like on a browser.

You did such an amazing job with her hair! I love it so much. The color is lovely with her skin complexion!

No photos...I am just really enjoying the moments when the three of us our downstairs..talking & laughing and just being silly. With a 16yo, that doesn't happen very often but now that we are social distancing...he tends to come downstairs more often & longer too so I'm very grateful for that.

I have been enjoying my walks. So many pretty flowers blooming!

I have been keeping busy painting the playroom while all my littles are at their own homes.

Two of my girls found their old cheer uniforms from 8 years ago!!!

And lots of college work and studying going on.

I was trying to cheer up my daughter who has the (thankfully) lesser strain of COVID and quarantined for 2 wks. So I saw a post on FB about funny dog pics with bread mask with nose and eyes poked out. So this is my (completely failed) attempt LOL. It had the desired effect when I message her with the photo. She said she laughed and cried and it really touched her heart that I did something silly with Taz like she would normally do, as I don't usually do goofy things like that with him. He was such a trooper too, just sitting quietly as I tried twice with 2 pieces of bread to get this to work LOL. What a funny memory that I will never forget.

Haha! Rae that's too funny. I bet Taz is thinking "What the heck?"

Sherly you look great! So happy to hear the morning sickness is gone. I suffered that with both pregnancies, and it sucked the joy out of everything.

Biancka, I hear you about 16 yr olds. I'm seeing my girl a lot more now too, and she comes over for hugs a lot more than she used to as well.

Kellie, my two are the same with minecraft. They can niggle and annoy each other all day long, but as soon as they're on minecraft together they're all laughter and joy.

Stacy, go you with the painting! I'm trying to convince my husband to finish painting the back wall of the house - he did the rest a year ago and the house feels lopsided without the last part done

Picture is on the camera & I am on the couch, but today my kids (6 year old girl, 8 year old boy) played "spa". LOL. My daughter put lotion on her brother's feet & clips in his hair. He was a good sport
