Default Easter pics...let's see em!

Okay..I had a little mini session with Ella today...I totally bribed her with an ice cream cone lol! Her brother was too busy playing football with his cousins so I'll have to get some of him in the morning before church..but here's Ella in her "princess dress" as she calls it

So sweet! I'm a little sad this year. I usually have my kids match for Easter and all but I didn't buy them new Easter attire this year and I haven't had a chance to go through their closets to see what they have that will work. Easter really snuck up on me.

Gorgeous!

We don't really do Easter but I want to do a spring photo shoot of Cheyanne at the park - the weather is NOT cooperating though! It's been cloudy and only 38-40 degrees all weekend

These aren't Easter pics, necessarily, but we're having our annual spring photo shoot Monday, and I took a couple quick pics so I could show the outfits we picked for the photogs. I love my little girl and handsome hubby! (The hat is because his head was cold. He cut off ALL HIS HAIR, until he was almost bald, 4 days before the photo shoot! I could have killed him! Don't think he'll actually wear it at the shoot, but dunno...I kinda like it )

Easter snuck up on me, so Zach doesn't have anything special to wear... he's just wearing some of his dressier stuff.

I purchased little bunny ears for him, so tomorrow I'll take a picture of him wearing the bunny ears and Jeffrey holding the (real) bunny that was on our doorstep this morning (someone seriously just... left a caged bunny on our doorstep with a note telling Jeffrey to feed him, water him, and give him lots of love).

Nikki, that dress is adorable, and that middle photo is total perfection!

Kate, I'd wanna kill him, too, but judging by how cute he looks in the hat, I don't think there's any chance of him ruining your photos. ; )

Kara, it looks like your kids have such cute personalities, and you did a great job capturing that! Those outfits are so cute, too.

I took some this morning before church. I had planned to walk over and take them at the beach, but my parents called on skype and we ran out of time.

Great pics everyone. Happy Easter.

And Angie, how did you get your peeps on a stick to turn out so well? I've been working on those tonight and let's just say they don't look exactly like the link you left earlier this week or yours for that matter. I finally started putting them on end to end and those look ok.

I don't have any of Miss Monkey in her dress yet, but I love this pic I got of her with my sister and the E.B. at my parents' neighborhood's egg hunt this morning (even if her cute shirt is covered up b/c of the cold :P):

My 2 don't even have their clothes on yet LOL. They are eating chocolate and I don't want them to get dirty before they go and see their Nana.

Kim, I hope it's warmer two hours more south.....it's really cold here. Fortunately, the sun is shining, otherwise it was a dull Easter here. Last year is soooooo in my mind....20 degrees warmer

LOVE all the pics!!! I'm a little sad because yesterday was so crazy that I didn't get any good pics from dyeing eggs or our egg hunt (well, I haven't checked, but I know I didn't try too hard)... but seeing this thread reminds me that that's not what's important about Easter anyway... and I'll try to get good pics of everyone today dressed up for church.... as we focus and learn about the resurrection today!

Although we didn't get all new easter outfits this year either, we're just going to try and coordinate everyone!

It's not very warm here either... We were lucky to have some sun while we were hunting for eggs though! My daughter doesn't want to wear anything else but dresses and skirts so there was no doubt she was going to wear one today as well!

Look at all these cutie pies! Here's Miss Chloe in her Easter dress. Wish I had gotten a better pic, but she was NOT in the mood for photos. Wanted to do some outside, but it was just too cold for her.

Oh. Good to know. I took mine today and my mom said, "Oh, it looks like they're tobogganing." LOL. I have a feeling I may not live this one down, as in, "remember that Easter you made the tobogganing peeps?"

I made some of these but I put my peeps sideways on the stick. I used the ends of each row of peeps to be the ends of my 'sucker' and they turned out cute all nestled next to one another. I started out trying it like this but they were squishing too much and looked like little sugar blobs instead of chicks.

I was beyond exhausted this morning and took a nap after the kids opened their Easter basket stuff. We lazed around until dinner and I never got around to taking any posed shots and then, at dinner, of course, both kids managed to get food on their clothes. I'll have to take some later, although we didn't do new Easter outfits this year, they just wore what they had in their closets. They still looked cute (and comfy!) though. I'm having my daughter wash their clothes so I can get pictures tomorrow. My son was so upset, he was crying "but it won't be Easter still!"

We did go out and get some pictures today though, they just weren't in Easter attire. I'll have to upload and see how they turned out.

Sophie's first Easter <3!! I was so excited to finally get to buy an Easter dress !

Sadly this was the best group shot I could get, my munchkins aren't all that cooperative even 1 at a time, forget about it when grouped together LOL!

Okay... here's my two. They obviously aren't dressed up but we were traipsing around a pond and everything so it worked out better this way. They caught a frog and nearly fell in the pond. LOL

They look so sweet. My son said "cool shirt" about your son's shirt. My guy has an obsession right now with pink and I couldn't find a pink shirt for him anywhere. I'm still on the lookout because I think it would look good on him.

Oh! I just love seeing all these! And look how much our kids have grown!

Here are my babies (although not so much anymore!)

They have cute easter dresses, but since we were going to be out running around all day I decided to save them for another time... plus Lexi wearing a dress if it doesn't involve church? Forget about it! LOL!

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

What great pictures! Ours aren't for Easter, but I took the kids out on Monday to try and get some new pictures to hang in the family room. I wish they were sharper, but it was so hard to get them to cooperate for these that I don't think any of us are up for a 2nd try.

Thanks! He had been telling me all along he didn't want to wear pink and had a bit of a crying spell while getting dressed but he quickly got over it. He felt better when he got to church and saw lots of other boys in pink, including my nephew. Neither he nor his friends at school would touch a pink or purple egg at their egg hunt. It was so funny.
