Default Who has one of these???

I WANT ONE!!!

I'm so tired of my cute projects looking like POO when I take the picture!!!

Does anyone have one of the photo tents/photo light boxes??

Which one do you have?? Likes/dislikes? What would you recommend?? Where do I start??

I don't want to spend too much $$ (like not more than $75).

HELP!!!

Crappy pictures of cute projects, BE GONE!!

I've had this one on my wish list for awhile, it's only $71 through Amazon w/free S/H -

Here are a couple of other similar options -

I've had one for about 3 months but I haven't used it yet. Haven't scrapped in forever so no need for it. But I used them a lot in my pro days back in the states and I loved it. I have no real dislikes other than having to pack and unpack it when I want to use it but that's the life of a photographer with cats and dogs.

I used to have one that i made myself. But it got ruined when my BIL accidentally spilled some drinks on it. So what i did was, take a used cardbox, then cut out all upper the flaps. With the opening side facing front, i slit the upper side of the back, installed a long fluorescent lamp.

And then use clip on desk/study lamps for the lights on the sides. you can also just use the lamps from the fron't and it'll seem seamless anyway.

Another tip is also making an opening on the top side of the box, at the center, so if you want to photograph something flat, you could have a better angle from the top.

Multifunctional, and cheap!

ummm^WTF?? Spam!?

anyway, i have the same problem with crappy pics of my projects. so the other day, i just put a couple pieces of white cardstock on the kitchen floor, leaned a few more against my china cabinet for the back and sat my project down on it, lol. then i photoshop to correct the color i just did the 'Enhance-adjust coloremove color cast' and clicked on the white background. here's how it came out.

better than they were anyway. i guess its just not a huge deal to me, lol. i'm happy.
i am thinking of getting big pieces of that foam core board and making a box or something though.

I try to always take mine on the hardwood floors in front of my patio doors during natural light, but I don't have many hours of natural light right now, so my last one was taken in the dark on top of the wine fridge. lol

I finally made my own home set-up. I use the white side of wrapping paper over a really tall candle holder. I drape it down over my desk and then put my project on top. I have a standing light with a flexible neck that I can angle for extra lighting, but I'm going to hit up IKEA for a few new lights next visit.

For a black background I bought a half yard of black fabric to throw on over the white paper when needed. It's very homemade, but it's set up all the time in my bed room in our sitting area. Not very romantic, but easy to use.

you know what - i have something similar to this ... some lights, a pop up background, etc ... i don't think i've ever used it ... i bought it several years ago when i was making jewelry ... if anyone wants it - i'd be happy to send it to you if you pay for shipping and if you are OK with waiting a few weeks until i get back from a two week thanksgiving vacation just send me a PM - i'll give it to whoever contacts me first, k?
