Default Less than a week

Yikes, my son's long-term substitute will be moving next Thursday and it came as a surprise to all of us, the children included!

My son's long-term substitute has been his teacher since the second or third day of school when his teacher fell and broke her hip during school hours. We thought we were going to keep her until Christmas break when she was supposed to be move away and his original teacher was coming back to teach. However she just broke the news to us that she is nearing her last days of school, and as of this past Monday she is no longer my son's teacher as they have been introduced to their short-term substitute teacher who is NOTHING like the long-term sub!

When I found out she was going to be my son's teacher through Christmas, I decided I'd make her a brag book of her time as a teacher to my son's class. Now that she's leaving sooner, I don't have nearly as much time to get this brag book done!

I have less than a week to scrap 20 pages of her time as my son's teacher. TWENTY!! So if you will excuse me, I have my work cut out for me these next few days!

That sounds like a very sweet gift! You could always let her know you wanted to do something for her, but it won't be ready by the time she leaves. See if you can keep in touch/contact with her (facebook friends, instagram, e-mail, phone etc) and then when you get it finished you can get it to her then? I am friends with a couple of my girls old teachers on Facebook. She just might agree to it.

You can do it! Keep it super simple. Like a photographers portfolio. Just photos and words.

What a lovely thing to do for her.
Good luck. I hope AND I KNOW you can pull it off.

haha well that's so sweet of you. She will love her gift no matter how many pages you get done!

She has already said she will make sure all of us parents get her new mailing address, once they get settled at their new duty station. So I know I can always mail it. I just figured I was getting it printed locally, it'd be cheaper to get it to her next Thursday, rather than spending almost $10 to mail it to her on top of printing it. But I do have that option as a backup!!

That's a brilliant idea! I think I was overthinking it! I like this idea and I think I might be able to pull it off this weekend, once I find the perfect template set for it!!
