Default Ideas needed ...

I know there have been many threads about this before, but humor me. We can't control when our mojo leaves and neither can our designers. So let's help them out! What are you looking for or missing while scrapping? Is it a certain event? A color scheme? Hit us up! Feel free to make an inspiration board or just post pics. Or if you are like me, just reply. You never know what will spark that darn mojo into returning.

I'll start ... I have been looking for signature templates. I HATE making my signature. HATE.IT. Don't know why but I do.

Heidi, ya know, I've had signature templates on my to do list for probably 2 years now, but I wasn't sure that there would be much demand for them. So, I always pushed them to the back burner. Maybe I should think about it!

I'm always on the look out for a kit to scrap our national liberation day celebration with. I've scrapped it with Kristin's kit for the last two years, but I want to change it up a little for next year. So a kit to match these outfits would be PERFECT!

I need new title card templates for Project Life 2015. And I don't care what week # it is. I care about the date of the week. I love the ones I use from Nettio but just feel like I should change it up for 2015 - I've used those for two years!

I feel like a broken record because I like to request hockey kits as well. They are few and far between which makes me wonder if there is no market for them? It seems like there are a lot of Canadians at SSD so I bet it would do well! Mari and Rebecca always 2nd this request!

I do, I do! I have so many hockey pictures sitting around waiting to scrap.

I'd also love these themes:
school carnival
science museum
fairy tales
butterflies

Word art and titles, especially for holidays/seasons/special occasions. These are my least favorite things to do. I seriously can't get enough of them. Not cards, although, I have been using them in a pinch.

I'd love a school kit focused on the end of the year rather than back to school. Field trips, field day, end of the year parties, report cards, the good friends they've made, how their handwriting/story writing/math skills/etc. have changed over the course of the year, and so on. Schoolelated, but more than crayons and books. I suppose this could be done as an entire kit or an add-on to an existing school kit in the shoppe.

I'd also love to see more pocket scrapping cards that are for journaling. I love how Traci's Pocket Life collection includes an entire pack of cards meant to journal on. One of the major reasons I don't buy other card packs is that there are too few spaces to write (or at least write more than a sentence or two).

maybe this already exists, but I could use a house remodeling kit. We are renovating our kitchen and just had the whole house painted.

OK, here's the deal with hockey... LOL I'll do it in December if I can get a couple of you guys to volunteer to help me find inspiration for it! Tell me what kinds of things you want in it, send me pics, sites that might help. I know NOTHING about hockey. But this is a request I get a TON to go wit my sports kits. Just shoot me a PM here if you're willing to let me pick your brain a little on this one!

So, if you guys will help me with inspiration, I'll do it between now and Christmas.

I would love a blended family kit. Not like, 'oh no, we're a broken home wah wah wah,' but more of a way to explain to younger siblings why his/her older brother/sister doesn't live with us all the time or a way to journal abt how the child having two homes affects them or us.

I'd love a Christmas kit that focus purely on getting (buying or preferably chopping your own) the tree set up and decorated. We're always gone to a large ranch, where they sell Christmas trees, and you can either buy one already cut or you can go into their woods and chose your own, chop it down and pay. There are also sleigh rides, Santa's cabin and other activities for the kids. I used to love it as a kid and would like my kids to experience the same. We plan on going this year, therefor I would love a kit that is all about the tree.

Woot! You are the perfect designer for the job Libby! I've never searched for any inspiring quotes or anything but I'm going to do that now. I'll PM you now.

There is a great Wayne Gretzky quote that goes something like "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" but I'll find the exact wording!

A project life kit with all the basics in neutral tones to fit all year would be perfect!
Also I'd like to se PL kits that are more about the month and less focus on the holidays of that specific month as we don't have 4th of July (our's is in May), our fall is soaking wet and cold. The little things like that, doesn't always fit with what I'd like, so I end up not buying them and having to look through all my other kits to find pieces to make up one page.

I really really really want a new Star Wars inspired kit. I have some from this Shoppe that I've used and reused for my Star Wars pages and they are retired now so if someone was looking now they couldn't get them. Flergs and KCB rocked the Frozen inspired kits. Is someone up to tackling Star Wars??? I will make you lots of sample pages

Oh I could use some Disney inspired kits. With kids in the house, I now have an excuse to watch Lion King, The little mermaid, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Pocahontas, sleeping beauty, Aladdin and all the other classics I grew up watching. Would love some kits to scrap that. A Flergs and KCB collab collection would be to die for! Pretty please make this?!?!

I'll add a 4th voice to this request! I have lots of pictures of kids in Star Wars costumes or having light saber battles. I think I still have some from Star Wars themed birthday parties, too.

Re Star Wars - I'll 5th this!

Re project life stuff - I agree with what a couple of other people have said about having more generic stuff. We don't have some of the same holidays and my seasons are the opposite so sometimes its hard to use a lot of the theme-y stuff.

I do mine monthly so I'd like to see cards, word art, snippets, stickers, etc that say things like (for example) - photo of the month, this month was... rather than photo of the week, etc.

I would love Cindy to create a layered card set about food. I always have food pictures to add into Project Life. A set that has some cards with a photo spot and some with just journaling area in case I want to highlight a meal I cooked. Maybe a cute recipe card or two to add in family recipes. A rating card to rate a new restaurant. I would use a set like this on nearly every project life spread.

Flergs and I have been planning for awhile a collection for 2015, we went through many ideas. At the end of it all, we both settled on Disney Movie inspired releases for each month. it was going to be a a big secret, but since this thread was started, we thought, what the heck, we would come ask, what would be your top 12 MAGICAL requests for a year long series, maybe it's different from what we had planned? And go....

Oh, exciting! Disney only? We have an outdoor theater that always runs a children's production each summer, so (off the top of my head), I know that I have photos for Lion King, Aladdin, Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins... Also, Cars and Finding Nemo!

I would use signature templates also. I used to make Sigs all the time, but that was a long time ago before all the fun and fancy scrapping stuff came out.... would be nice to have some templates to keep me from over or under doing it

I would LOVE a specific kit about the opera (or the theater), because I'm an ardent fan!
And (though I know I'll most likely never get that): there are kits about tomboys, but none about the contrary... little boys who like girly things. My son is a "pink boy", and I've been trying forever to find a kit with pink boys' stuff- like cars and robots and dinosaurs, but PINK. He loves flowers and fairies and princesses, but he loves boys' things, too... and he would love them even more if they had his favorite color . But that's impossible to find...
And (since this is a unique chance): an URBAN kit that doesn't have so much grey in it. I have a few, but they are all very... greyish. I'd like something a little more uplifting and bright.

A doctor who themed kit. Lots of blue, space, swirly timey wimey stuff.
I know this might be extra hard with regards to the copyright, but I've seen lots of other things with similar design, if only there was a digital kit.

I have not been able to find any kits for gymnastics (especially the preschool / kindergarten age - not so mature as she is just starting out) and would also love a Hanukkah kit that is not all blue and white in color. I scrap to match my photos and with the people / gifts, there is colors

Another for Star Wars With the movie coming out next year I'm sure demand will only grow for more Star Wars goodies

A cancerelated kit that is NOT breast cancer awareness/pink. Most forms of cancer have their own signature ribbon color, so I'd like it to include a ribbon template that could be customized for whichever color ribbon someone is needing.

Monster High-inspired
