Default THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD WIN THAT BAMBOO FUN TABLET!!!

Soooo, my birthday is next Wednesday and since we just got our tax returns (BWAHAHA) I needed a little something for myself.
So, I made...yes MADE (lol) my DH run by Best Buy last night and pick me up the new Bamboo Fun tablet.
OMG GIRLS! This thing is wayyyyyy awesomer than a regular Wacom! Way more sensitive.

Look what I made!

Cute huh?

Yes you definately want one. I was upset at first because my dog chewed the cord to my Wacom this past summer and I havent had one since. Now, normally I would be mad at my dog but I am sooooo glad she ate it.
First of all the surface is a lil rough, like writing on paper. Secondly and most important to ME, the cord is removable, so that next time she eats it (Lord forbid) I can just get another.
And.....its about half the thickness of my previous Wacom. About the thickness of a magazine.

Same thing, doodle! Add your own handwriting to your layouts for journaling. Be awesome. What more do you need in life?

LOL Lauren.
Let's see, other than just doodling fun things in your free time, I've made a sticker for a page with my own handwriting. You can also use it to extract things more efficiently (because the pen is better for that than a mouse).
You could sign your name to documents or add it to your siggy, too.
Its just way better for scrapping than a mouse.

Now see? I was just resigning to the fact that I wouldn't be able to scrap tonight because (boo hoo Val) has come down with a cold... but I think I might have enough fire in me to crank out a few more points

I noticed that my wacom isn't working as well as it once did.....I'm so sad it's breaking (not)....I think I might just have to sacrifice it and get a Bamboo fun!

The awesomest part about the Wacom's (in general) is that they're a replacement for the mouse. The pen IS a mouse, pretty much. I gave up my mouse almost immediately after getting my Graphire4...it's just so much more control and easier to handle (and more comfy too). I use it to navigate and everything.

DH didn't like it at first, but now that he's figured out how to use it, he'll never go back to a mouse either. When I get my Mac, I'm gonna get a Bamboo Fun so that he has this one with the old PC.

I so want one of those!!

For those of you who aren't sure about getting a tablet, they take a bit of getting used to, but once you do they are awesome! It took me about a year to even attempt to use mine because I couldn't get used to it, but now I use it as my mouse - LOL!

My husband got me one for Christmas. I wanted it to be able to put my own handwritting in my pages because that is the only thing I have missed about my paper scrapping but so far I am not really happy with the outcome. It looks nothing like my handwritting. It is messy and all over the place. I am sure it takes a lot of getting used to but unfortunetly I usually won't spend all that time to learn it. You guys make it sound wondeful though. I think I need to order the custom hand font as someone mentioned they had earlier.
