Default Favorite Christmas Movies

I just watched my annual viewing of Love, Actually, one of my favorite Christmas movies.

Oh the feels. (Especially Emma Thompson's character )

What's your favorite grown up Christmas movie? Not the ones you watch with the kids every year, but YOUR favorite?

Here are my top 5 (sorry I can't pick just one!)

1. White Christmas (all time favorite!!!)
2. Miracle on 34th Street (original black and white)
3. Charlie Brown Christmas (I mean it is a classic)
4. Love Actually (YES!, the feels)
5. Nutcracker (It is the version where the costumes were done by Maurice Sendak, not the Maculay Culkin one)

Elf. Does that count? We also enjoy the Santa Claus movies. I am only saying adult cause they weren't out when I was little.

This is a tough question... Most of the Christmas movies I love the most are ones I can watch with the kids.

I will say, the ones I like that they haven't watched or don't want to watch are:
- Little Women
- A Christmas Story
- Christmas Vacation

ooh... forgot about The Holiday - I'll have to dig them out...

For me, the holiday can begin when I've watched:
Christmas Vacation
Love Actually
Four Christmases

Then I love the cheesy ABC Family movies...
Holiday in Handcuffs
MIstletones
Desperately Seeking Santa
12 dates of christmas

Serendipity!! (I think I say that every year. )
The Holiday - because I so want to go stay in that English cottage
Elf
The Grinch (animated)

I'm still quite fond of the old movies I watched as a kid too, the puppet ones like Rudolph, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

I've never seen Love, Actually.

And of COURSE, the movie we watch on Christmas Eve - It's a Wonderful Life.

We have already watched Christmas Vacation twice this year... It's my favorite and I just love watching my husband laugh through the whole thing.
