Default Why???

I was doing a little online shopping tonight, and thought it was about time I buy a couple new bras. But....My . bra . has . been . discontinued. I have been purchasing the same style in a variety of colors for years now. Seriously, I heart this bra. I need a large size bra, and it took me years of uncomfortable bras to find this one, I searched tonight and no one has any left in stock.

They suggested another similar style (this is $10 more ) and the "improvements" included only going up to a smaller size and thinner straps. Geez thanks...WTH

As a gal who has to search high and low for a "larger size" bra, when I find one I like, I always buy a bunch, because they are FOREVER changing things. I just recently had to buy new bras, and while these are OK, there are still issues . . . especially with the comfort of the bra at the underwire/cording on the sides/under the arms. I mean, I know there is only so much the bras can be anticipated to do . . . BUT I'm looking for something where I don't look like a granny AND is comfortable at the same time. Is this asking too much?

Do you mind me asking what "new" bra they are suggesting as I might try it out?

I'm going to pipe up here... I have personally been to this store as it is just a half hour away from me...incredible place. I suggest emailing or calling the store directly. They are very knowledgable and helpful. They might be able to help you find one that is a great match.

Or...come visit me and I will take you for a personal fitting! Yeah..do that! You know we'd have a grand ole time!

Jenn...can you order from Lane Bryant?

I totally LOVE the Balconette Bras

They totally support me and I have no more back pain. I've tried other bras and I'm in pain within 10 minutes. I've even tried the other bras from here, and while I can wear some of them for a day, I don't want to go more than that.

Right now they are buy one get one 50% off, and then I have coupons that can be added on to that. If you're interested...pm me!

Blech! I'm so sorry! I have the same problem, but from the other side. It is impossible to find good small size bras. I always snatch a bunch when I find good ones.

Oh my gosh Jennifer, thank you for the link! I have the hardest time finding bras. I want these worrisome honkers reduced but just don't have the cash and am scared to do it. Bra shopping is torture and I need some new ones but can't ever find the right size. Thank you thank you thank you! I like the ones at Lane Bryant too, just can't ever find what I want in the actual store. Have to get them online.

I e-mailed them Rachel, and they were super helpful. They made me feel better about the "new" bra. Even with the extra $10, the price is still pretty good for "larger bras". In my small town the place that carries my size is a boutique that charges more than double that price.

Amy, the site is great, the Elomi and Goddess are great bras.

Don't be scared to get them reduced!! I'm almost a year post op & love my new tatas! And insurance very well could pay a portion of it.

I used to get my bras at Lane Bryant, too and it is SOOOOOO hard to find nice bigger bras.

Thanks for the links . . . the Lane Bryatn Smooth Satin Full Coverage is the one I have right now. The price wasn't bad. They didn't have the pink in the store and I think I'm going to order it since I've tried on the bras at the store.
